The general availability of the Internet allows many talented people to become famous without having to visit publishers to publish their works. However, the ability to print your poems on any day and on almost every site has made poetry quite a massive occupation. And sometimes it is extremely difficult to find something really outstanding out of hundreds of published daily works.

Step 1

Modern poetry is distinguished by a complete departure from the rules and canons. Most of the works lack both rhyme and poetic meter. This allows poets to express their thoughts more widely. However, due to frequent violations of the rules, the boundaries of such a concept as poetry are becoming more and more blurred. This approach to writing poems allows everyone to try themselves in poetry and declare their success to the world.

Step 2

It is worth noting that great competition not only forces poets to violate generally accepted rules, but also helps to make their work brighter. To stand out among thousands of talented people, you need to come up with something extremely different from others. Therefore, modern poetry is becoming more than bright and rich. Poems are gradually flowing into a new form of expression, more and more often they are imposed on music and turn, if not into pop, then into yard rap. This is especially inherent in adolescents at the time of adolescence with all the crises that follow from it.

Step 3

Contemporary poetry cannot but be influenced by the difficult realities of life. Therefore, in most cases, poets write about life's difficulties, loneliness in all its forms, unrequited love and an unhappy childhood. It is regrettable that people are less and less willing to turn descriptions of nature, happiness and joyful moments of life into rhymed lines. Many poets try to talk about their inner world, because reality seems to them too cruel. Political aspects are practically not touched upon in poetry, since modern society is too tired of advertising and a work on a similar topic in most cases will be perceived as agitation. Thus, it becomes clear that poetry both develops and limits the course of life, completely saturating with one thing and not revealing other aspects of reality.
