early years
The homeland of Vladimir is the city of Samara, where he was born and where his parents live today. But many consider him a Tula, because in this city Tsvetaev was born as an artist.
The artist is sure that his parents instilled in him good taste and the desire to go forward. Vladimir received a higher musical education at the Samara Institute of Culture. Mom reacted calmly to the choice of her son, the father was indignant for a long time. Only years later, after attending his solo concert, he gave his hand and agreed: "a serious profession."
The young man's musical career began at school, where he played bass guitar and sang in a group. This was followed by service in the Soviet Army as part of the song and dance ensemble of the Volga Military District.
In 1987, Vladimir ended up in Tula. Here he first appeared on stage as a rock musician. However, the image of a cool rocker - a long-haired man in leather clothes - absolutely did not suit the young man. The soul asked for another, closer and more organic to him. Fate brought Tsvetaev together with Vasily Popov, the songwriter and leader of the Vek group. The joint work later grew into a great male friendship. Vladimir connects his formation as an artist with Tula and is grateful to the Tula people for the invaluable help and support provided to him.
Tsvetaev considers himself a competitive person, there were many of them behind the musician. He recalls with great warmth the very first international competition in Almaty. Among a huge number of pop artists, Vladimir became the best and received the Grand Prix. The victory of the aspiring singer made him famous and opened up to a wide audience. When the artist went on stage, he realized that the excitement had gone somewhere and a feeling of flight came. The singer remembered this feeling for the rest of his life and, each time going out to the audience, he tries to experience it.
Career
For a long time, Vladimir performed works by Vasily Popov from the stage. In 1994, the artist's debut album "Sing, Sing" was released. The songs from this collection immediately became popular and entered the radio charts. The composition "My good angel" was included in the final concert "Song of the Year-95".
Three years later, a new album by the artist "Lady Love" was released. The song of the same name from this collection became a real hit, director Mikhail Makarenkov shot a video for it. The album is popular to this day. Soon a video version of the concert was released, which included 11 compositions: "You are so rare", "Heels", "You can't buy love", "Volodya" and others. The success inspired the musician to tour the cities of Russia, he was applauded by foreign listeners on three continents.
The solo album, released in 2001, was called Where the Stars End. The composition of the same name was included in the Hot Ten selections of the Soyuz studio and Dance Paradise.
In 2004, the musician's fourth disc, "In the Mood for Love", appeared - the sales leader for the next 3 years. The title of the collection already indicated that the songs would be dedicated to love. The singer was often asked: “Isn't he tired of singing about the“eternal”theme? But he considers it relevant today, because people sometimes lack this feeling in life, this topic is interesting and organic for the performer, he does not need to invent anything. In addition to the songs of Vasily Popov, the collection includes compositions by the author Mikhail Klenovsky.
The new collection "Smile" appeared in 2007. Along with the songs of Vasily Popov, the album includes several of the singer's own compositions. The union of two talented people led to the creation of a creative laboratory - the "Rose of the Winds" studio, where most of the songs for joint albums were recorded. The duet of the musician with the trumpet player Jess Petty turned out to be successful, their joint work was awarded a special diploma from the Paramount company.
This was followed by three more albums of popular music, which included new songs and old hits: "Station Zarechnaya" (2012), "Honeymoon" (2014) and "I beg you for mercy" (2016). In 2018, the artist delighted his fans with a new collection "Summer on BiS".
For many years the musician performed with Valentina Tolkunova. They often went on stage as a duet, especially for the performer Tsvetaev wrote the song "The Motley Kerchief".
"Old courtyard" and the March concert
There are several favorite places for the musician: Samara, where his biography began, Moscow, where he has lived and worked for many years, and Nice, which amazed him with its nighttime beauty. But there is a city where he is drawn all the time, and he returns there every year - this is Tula. Vladimir considers himself a Tula and is very proud of it. Many years ago, a tradition arose according to which the artist gives a concert for the townspeople on the eve of International Women's Day. The rule has not changed for two decades, the residents of Tula are eagerly awaiting the annual arrival of their favorite artist in March.
Today marks the anniversary of the holiday "Old courtyard" on Kosaya Gora. Performers from many Russian cities come here. Vladimir Tsvetaev regrets that people have begun to read and communicate little, have become tough and closed. The Old Courtyard Festival helps them to exchange emotions and find the joy of life.
Personal life
As a child, the musician was very fond of Alexander Rowe's fairy tales. In them, almost all the heroines were called Nastya, then he fell in love with this name, dreamed that that was the name of his wife. And the dream came true. Three sons are growing up in the family of Vladimir and Anastasia. The elder Andrei is passionate about technology, Ivan is engaged in music, the younger Fedor has not yet chosen his future profession, but his father really wants his son to continue his work. After all, music adds so many bright colors to life!
The musician devotes most of his time to creativity, but every day he finds time for sports and communication with his family. Vladimir tries to protect his loved ones from the lenses of the press, all together they love to travel by car in Russia and abroad. This gives you incredible freedom to discover new tracks and cities, enjoy nature and disconnect from problems.
How does he live today
Vladimir Tsvetaev has been devoted to music and stage for 30 years. He really likes his role and does not think about changing his profession. He tours a lot around the country and abroad, writes music and prepares a new album for release.
At each of his concerts, the artist tries to make something memorable, to please his fans with some kind of surprise. In addition to vocal skills, the musician demonstrates masterly possession of several musical instruments at once: piano, drums, saxophone, harmonica. But most of all, of course, he loves the bass guitar.
Good friends and grateful listeners help Vladimir Tsvetaev to draw vital energy. The musician considers himself a happy person, because he is doing what he loves.
