Roza Amanova is a famous singer, People's Artist of Kyrgyzstan, professor in the field of folk music, chairman of the Kyrgyz Traditional Music Foundation.
Biography
Rose was born in February 1973 in the small Kyrgyz village of Toktogul, which only in 2012 received the status of a city. From childhood, parents instilled in their daughters a love of creativity, especially folk music. As a result, after graduating from school in her native village, Rosa applied to the music school in Bishkek, and then continued her education at the National Conservatory.
In addition to music, Rosa received an excellent classical education from her parents. She is often called a very aristocratic woman, very erudite and polite, who never gives rise to scandals and knows how to behave in any society.
Career
The first song, which brought the then young singer the love of all the people of Kyrgyzstan, was "Men seni sagyngym kelet" to the words of Omurkanov. Amanova performed it to the accompaniment of a komuz, a traditional three-stringed Kyrgyz instrument.
The famous epos "Kurmanbek", a long saga about a national hero who rallied the Kyrgyz tribes around himself and defended his native land from foreign invaders, was first performed entirely by Rosa Amanova, accompanied by the same komuz. Later, this work was released in her performance on 58 discs.
Throughout her life, Rosa combined performances on stage with teaching at the Bishkek Conservatory, eventually becoming its leader. She is the director of the foundation, which collects and carefully preserves the rarities of the traditional Kygyryz culture. Rosa collaborates with foreign folklore singers; her extensive repertoire includes many traditional songs from Turkey, Kazakhstan and even China.
In 2006, Rosa Amanova defended her Ph. D., for which she took her favorite topic - the cultural and musical traditions of her people. This woman is one of the few, thanks to whom the incredible originality of Kyrgyz folklore has not sunk into the centuries, but, on the contrary, is maintained and enriched.
Several of Rosa's pupils are members of the Marzhan musical group, which performs at various competitions and festivals. Amanova Roza is the favorite of her people, laureate of the state prize, People's Artist of the Republic, professor, composer and excellent musicologist.
Personal life
Rosa is married to a well-known politician in the republic Kubanychbek Zhumaliev. And although the husband is 17 years older than his famous wife, they have a wonderful strong family. Rose gave birth to her husband three children and considers him not only a loved one, but also the closest friend and mentor. However, the press every now and then tries to find dirty gossip about this married couple, up to reports of a scandalous divorce. Tired of the lie, Rosa and her husband in 2013 filed a lawsuit against the especially zealous "yellow newspaper" Uchur, after which the press finally almost left the artist's family alone.
