Tatyana Sazonova is a Soviet cartoon director, animator and illustrator for children's books. With her help, such cartoons as the legendary "Thumbelina", "Cat's House", "Dragonfly and Ant" and others were created.
Tatiana Panteleimonovna Sazonova was born on December 29, 1929 in the city of Moscow. During her life, she became a production designer for 28 animated films and an animator for "Calico Street" and "Dragonflies and the Ant". In addition, Tatyana Sazonova has created illustrations for many books that children love.
Biography
Tatiana Sazonova received her artistic education at the All-Russian State Institute of Cinematography named after S. A. Gerasimov (VGIK). The year of graduation from the university is 1951.
The period from 1952 to 1960 was the beginning of Tatyana's career as an assistant to the production designer. Then in 1961 she became a production designer at the famous Soviet film studio "Soyuzmultfilm".
Sazonova worked in hand-drawn animation together with Nadezhda Privalova with the director and honored art worker of the RSFSR Leonid Amalrik and with the famous Soviet cartoon director Yuri Prytkov.
She made her film debut in 1958 as an artist in the family short "Cat's House".
In 1969, Sazonova took part in the creation of the series "Well, you wait!", Which was beloved by all viewers, as an editor.
The famous artist died on November 11, 2011, in Moscow, at the age of 85.
Tatiana Sazonova's contribution to the Soviet cartoon legacy is enormous. On the cartoons created with her help, more than one generation of Soviet and Russian television viewers has grown up. In 2011, an exhibition dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Soyuzmultfilm studio was held. Library of motion picture art. Personal life
Tatyana Sazonova's family was creative. Father, Panteleimon Petrovich Sazonov, is a famous director and artist of Soviet animated films. He took part in the creation of such cartoons as "The Tale of the Priest and His Worker Balda", "The Tale of Emelya" and others. Mother, Lydia Vitoldovna Sazonova - editing assistant. For a while she also worked on the radio.
Tatyana Sazonova's older brother, Anatoly, is a teacher, cartoonist and Honored Artist of the RSFSR. He took part in the creation of such beloved cartoons "Stolen Sun", "Twelve Months", etc.
She married the famous director and artist Yuri Prytkov, with whom they created many animated masterpieces.
The daughter of Tatyana and Yuri, Ksenia Prytkova, followed in the footsteps of her parents and also became a no less famous artist of animated films.
