Instructions
Step 1
The first series of "Fixies" were shown in the program "Good night, kids!" in 2010 year. According to the plot of the cartoon, fixies are little people who live inside all electrical appliances. They clean them, lubricate them, eliminate the resulting breakdowns. Fixies know how to turn into ordinary cogs, so none of the people can see them. Only one person in the world knows the secret of these little helpers - this is the boy DimDimych. He met and made friends with a whole family of fixies who live at his home.
Step 2
The main characters of the cartoon: the fix girl Simka, her younger brother Nolik and their parents - Papus and Masya. In some episodes, Dedus appears - a long-lived fixik, keeper of ancient customs, as well as Simka's classmates - Fire, Verta, Shpulya and Igrek. Together with the fixers and DimDimych, little viewers learn something new in each episode. For example, why text messages are sent or how so many cartoons fit on a small CD
Step 3
The cartoon "Fixies" is based on the story "Warranty Men" by Eduard Uspensky. The writer who invented the cat Matroskin and Sharik, Cheburashka and Krokodil Gena, Vera and Anfisa, wrote "Warranty Men" in 1975. The main character of his story is the girl Tanya. She discovers one day that there are little people living in all household appliances, supporting their work. Ivan Ivanovich Bure lives in the clock, and a master named News of the Day in the radio. The phone is monitored by a guarantee man Zero One, and the piano is being repaired by Ivan Sergeevich Waltz. According to Uspensky's idea, the warranty men were supposed to monitor the health of their devices only during the warranty period, which was installed at the factory.
Step 4
Alexander Tatarsky was the first to suggest making a cartoon out of Ouspensky's story. Tatarsky is the director of many commercials and music videos, the author of the intros for the programs "Good night, kids!" and "Alarm". He achieved the greatest fame as a director-animator, his works "Plasticine Crow", "Last year's snow was falling", "Wings, legs and tails" became popularly loved. It was Tatarsky who invented the animated series "The Fixies" as a modern adaptation of Ouspensky's story "The Warranty Men". But the animator did not wait for the release of his creation. He passed away in 2007. Other people were already implementing his idea in practice. However, in the final credits of The Fixies, the name of Alexander Tatarsky appears.
Step 5
A large team of screenwriters, artists and directors is working on "The Fixies". It is planned to release 156 episodes, by 2014 about half of them have been filmed. They tell about how a mirror and a magnifying glass are arranged, how paper and a toothbrush appeared, how a microwave oven and a music box work.
