Kirill Kleymenov is a Russian media manager, TV presenter, philologist, journalist. Deputy General Director, Director of the Directorate of Information Programs and a member of the Board of Directors of Channel One since 1998, he is the host of the Vremya news television program.

The biography of the media manager began in 1972. The child was born in Moscow on September 20 in a family of graduates of Moscow State University. On the first broadcast, it was not easy to distract from the habits acquired on the radio, but the novice presenter coped with this too. In 1997, Kleimenov became the host of the ORT news programs "Vremya" and "Novosti". It went on the air until 2004.
In 2002 began work as a host of the Big Football talk show. The program told about the World Championships held in Japan and South Korea. In 2003, the investigative documentary Kill Kennedy was shown, in which Kleimenov played the leading role of the project.
The journalist parted with Channel One in May 2004. Kirill Alekseevich moved to the work of the press secretary of the president of the Lukoil company. Soon, work on television resumed as the head of the directorate of the channel's information programs.
Many times Kleimenov took part in direct lines with the President of the country. In 2001-2003, the journalist entered the role of a moderator of telephone calls. In 2013-2015, Kirill led a "line" with Maria Sittel. At the time of his tenure as President Dmitry Medvedev, Kirill Alekseevich interviewed him twice for the Vremya program.

Since 2016, the energetic journalist has become one of the shareholders of Channel One OJSC and has become an acting member of the Board of Directors. In Timur Bekmambetov's film "Night Watch" Kleimenov starred as a cameo.
On the initiative of Kirill Alekseevich, in May 2011, the Good Light charity event was launched. White plastic shades were painted by famous TV people. Then their work got to the auction. The proceeds were used to treat children. The plot was filmed, the collection of money via SMS was launched.
In this way, funds were sent by those who could not purchase the lamp. A record amount has been collected over the course of a decade. All funds were directed to children's hospitals in Nizhny Novgorod and Kaluga. The ideological inspirer of the action, stylist Yulia Leshan, passed away in 2014. The program has firmly established itself on Channel One.
Life off the air
The presenter's personal life has been arranged. The first chosen one of Kirill Alekseevich was his classmate Maya. They officially became husband and wife in 1994. In 2000, the family broke up. Two children appeared in the family with Maria. The first child, daughter of Alexander, was born in 2001.
Cyril admitted in an interview that the history of the development of relations with the chosen one resembled a Brazilian TV series. Both worked together, gradually sympathy was replaced by other feelings. The media owner does not seek to turn the family into the public domain.

At the end of December 2017, together with Konstantin Ernst, a memorial plaque was opened in Ostankino in memory of the journalists who died in the plane crash over the Black Sea. On the occasion of the half-century anniversary of the Vremya program, Kleymenov and Anna Shatilova interviewed Vladimir Putin, who had visited the studio.
