The famous writer, teacher and choreographer Kirill Laskari became famous not only for the versatility of his talent. The brother of the famous actor Andrei Mironov has devoted almost 50 years to the art of choreography. The ballet dancer became the first performer of the roles of Count Rochefort in the ballet The Three Musketeers and The Little Humpbacked Horse in the production of the same name.
The teacher of Kirill Alexandrovich, the stepbrother of the famous Andrei Mironov, was the famous dancer Alexander Pushkin. For 20 years at the Maly Opera and Ballet Theater, Laskari remained one of the leading soloists.
The path to the vocation
The biography of the future celebrity began in 1936. The boy was born on July 17 in Leningrad in the family of pop artist Alexander Menaker and ballerina Ida Lipskerova, who performed under the stage name Irina Laskari.
After the parents parted, Kirill was raised by his mother. Her surname was subsequently taken by her son in 1952. The young man decided to associate his life with dance. He entered the Vaganova Choreographic School in his hometown. The student completed his studies in 1957. The graduate worked until 1959 at the Kirov Theater.
The young choreographer also danced on stage. Each of his works was distinguished by brightness. The talented choreographer also has a successful film career. In the movie "The Amphibian Man" he staged dance scenes, was busy in the films "Pokrovskie Vorota" "The Straw Hat".
Family and creativity
As a playwright, he created 6 plays, wrote the script for the film "Bullshit". Kirill Aleksandrovich, who worked as an assistant to the director Yakobzon, staged the films-ballets The Return and The Tale of the Servant Nikishka. The artist played himself in the documentaries "Another Mironov" and "Andrey".
The artist did not manage to establish his personal life right away. His first choice was actress Nina Urgant. They lived together for seven years, then parted.
The second wife, theater teacher and actress Irina Maguto, remained with her husband until his last days. In their family in 1977 a child was born, the son of Cyril. He chose the career of a writer, and later headed the STS Love TV channel.
Lascari worked in the theater, taught, wrote books. In his memoirs, he described his life, talked about the people with whom he performed on different stages. The prose writer made his debut as a writer in 1983.
Theater and cinema
