Childhood and youth

Resin Vladimir Iosifovich comes from a Jewish family. Was born in Minsk in 1936. The roots of the family originate in the small town of Rechitsa, located on the banks of the Dnieper and famous for history dating back to the 12th century. My father was in charge of the Belarusian forest industry. In 1937, he was arrested, but soon released, he even received a promotion to Moscow. Mother already in Soviet times was educated as a lawyer. The family raised two sons, Volodya was the youngest.

The boy's childhood was spent on the outskirts of Moscow. With the beginning of the war, Resins were evacuated beyond the Urals. In the village of Cheryomushki near Tomsk, Vova went to first grade. After returning, he continued his studies at the capital's school. He grew up as an ordinary child: he played football, went to the movies, often acted as a peacemaker in yard fights. His childhood friend was the future famous actor Semyon Farada.

Builder's path

Having decided to become an economist, the young man successfully graduated from the Moscow Mining Institute. After graduate school and thesis defense, he received his doctorate. The first place of work of the graduate was the mining village of Vatutino in Ukraine, where he was sent for distribution. But after a couple of years, fate brought the young engineer back to the capital to work in the subway. In general, he had to travel a lot around the country: he worked on the Kola Peninsula, in Kaluga, Tula and Smolensk. In 1964, he returned to the capital again and received the position of the head of the construction department. Vladimir Iosifovich achieved rapid career advancement through personal labor. He devoted himself completely to his work, sparing no effort and time. An excellent specialist and organizer in 1974 Resin became deputy head of Glavmosinzhstroy.

Ten years later, he became the head of this organization. Under his leadership, the construction and modernization of such objects as: the stadium "Dynamo", Luzhniki, SC "Olympic", DC "Izmailovo", many hotels and roads were carried out. The next steps in his career were the Moscow Construction Committee and the post of deputy head of the city for construction. Now all questions of the development of the capital were in his jurisdiction. Vladimir Resin became the initiator of many projects and social programs, he took the initiative to develop the underground urbanism of the city.

Educator and politician

Professor, academician, head of the Department of Economics of the Russian Plekhanov Academy, Vladimir Iosifovich willingly shares his scientific, engineering and creative thoughts with his students. He is the author of three books, over eighty articles and thirty inventions. The honored builder is a member of many Unions, commissions and committees, more than once he became a deputy. He was awarded many titles and government awards. In 2012, he became an adviser to Patriarch Kirill, oversees the construction of new churches in Moscow.

Resin considers his favorite work to be fascinating and fruitful. In the post-war years, he was pleased with how the country was being restored; in peacetime, it became interesting to erect new and modern buildings. The famous builder is very flattered that he can not only observe how the capital is being transformed, but also take a direct part in this. Demanding to himself, he often forgives people their weaknesses and appreciates, above all, professionalism.

The hero rarely talks about his personal life. His entire family lives under one roof: Vladimir Iosifovich, Marta's wife, whom Resin calls the “domestic leader,” daughter and son-in-law. All are already pensioners. The grandson, named after his grandfather, has a Ph. D. in economics, and is in business. The great-granddaughter Sonya is the common favorite of the family.
