Human culture is made up of many elements, among which the most important are values, moral norms and ideals. What is meant by “values”? This is the property of any objects, phenomena, to satisfy the desires, needs, interests of an individual or a group of people.

Step 1
The formation of values takes place under the influence of upbringing, customs and traditions. They can be both material and spiritual. Values have a great impact on behavior, culture, and the individual, and society as a whole.
Step 2
The value systems of different peoples can differ significantly. It depends on many factors. However, there are some universal values. Almost all peoples consider the murder of a person without extenuating circumstances (for example, without self-defense) as a grave crime that encroaches on the highest value - life. Theft, lying, breach of trust and other negative actions are also strongly condemned.

In the culture of the Russian people, the values that have formed over many centuries are clearly visible: mutual assistance ("Die yourself, but help your comrade"), diligence ("You can't pull a fish out of the pond without difficulty", "If you want to eat rolls, don't sit on the stove"), disinterestedness ("I'll give the last shirt"). At the same time, these worthy qualities are combined with caution, foresight (“Measure seven times, cut once”, “The word is silver, silence is gold”), and sometimes with laxity (“Perhaps, it will carry you through”). All this is reflected in Russian folk tales, epics.

In Muslim culture, the supreme deity - Allah and the rules established by him, set forth in the Koran, is the absolute value. According to the canons of Islam, it is forbidden to depict a person, therefore the artistic imagination of Muslim masters finds a way out in ornamentalism. The floral ligature created by them (including from stone) are genuine works of art. Also, a seemingly paradoxical phenomenon is characteristic of Muslim culture: an extremely sensual, on the verge of eroticism, lyrics glorifying the beauty, tenderness and passion of a woman, combined with open discrimination of the weaker sex in society.

For Japanese culture, the values are simplicity, conciseness, combined with a high degree of responsibility. The Japanese attach great importance to how their actions and behavior look in the eyes of others. “Losing face”, that is, humiliating oneself, being convicted of something shameful, inappropriate, for many Japanese people is worse than death.
Step 6
The main values of American culture are individualism, the desire to achieve success. This is often combined with absolute confidence in his "missionary" mission - to bring American values to the whole world without asking his opinion on this matter.
