Every nation, large or small, has cultural achievements. Be it works of literature, music, fine arts or oral folk art in the form of fairy tales, myths, sagas, passed down from generation to generation. In any case, language is the basis for the development of the culture of any nation.

Step 1
Even among the ancient inhabitants of the Stone Age, who were at a very low level of development, certain elements of culture were encountered - they were made, for example, in the form of rock paintings or ornaments made of stone and bone, albeit made at a rather primitive level. Why did the language initially play such a big role in the development of human society in general and culture in particular? The life of primitive people was very difficult and dangerous. In order to survive, fighting predators, to get food, it was necessary to coordinate efforts, to act together. However, gestures, facial expressions and individual guttural sounds alone are not enough for such joint efforts, since not everything can be explained with their help. So gradually sounds began to form into syllables, and syllables into words. Each tribe had its own language system.
Step 2
Those peoples who developed a language received a noticeable advantage: they could more successfully carry out joint activities, get more food, spending less time and effort, they could negotiate with each other. Thus, they gradually developed. They had more free time, which can be used in different ways, including depicting animal figurines, or making household items, ornaments. This is how the first elements of culture began to emerge.

Subsequently, with the development of society and the emergence of states, the role of language has grown many times over, because without it there is nowhere. The same can be said for culture. Using language, the most talented representatives of each nation began to create works of oral or written creativity. As the literacy and culture of society as a whole grew, there were more and more such works. They also taught music, painting, and sculpture with the help of the language. Without the use of language, this would simply be impossible, that is, people would not be able to understand each other.

Since all languages differ from each other, oral and written works of different peoples carry characteristic linguistic features. In addition, since the customs, traditions, religious views of different peoples are also different, all this is reflected in works of art, for example, in literature, painting. Therefore, we can safely say that it is the language of each nation, with its inherent characteristics, that underlies its culture.
