Biography and career of Petr Petrovich Zaichenko
In the Cossack village of Kaysatskoye on April 1, 1943, the future idol of millions of fans was born. It is interesting that initially the newborn boy was named Anatoly, but the joy of being born in the family was overshadowed by the tragic news from the front about the death of his father. Then the grandfather decided to immortalize the name of his beloved son in Zaichenko Jr. Thus, our hero became Peter Petrovich.
In the formation of Petya's personality, a decisive role was played by his grandfather Panteley Ivanovich, who was an authoritative person throughout the Cossack district. Their family was wealthy enough by local standards, and therefore the young man had the opportunity to develop creatively and read a lot. In the near future, he showed an iron will and insisted on becoming an artist instead of the teaching career that his grandfather had prophesied for him.
After graduating from high school, Zaichenko entered the Volgograd Cultural and Educational School, which, upon completion of his studies, was replaced by the I. Slonov Saratov Theater School. In 1971, he graduated with honors from his university and was assigned to the Volgograd Drama Theater, where he worked for three years. An important part of Peter's work during this period was recitation, which was considered a great success for novice actors. He could often be seen on the programs of Rosconcert and on Leningrad television.
In the "nineties" Pyotr Zaichenko, being an actor of the Volgograd Philharmonic, was admitted to the troupe of the Cossack Theater, and then to the Youth Theater of the Stanitsa Cossack District.
Zaichenko made his debut in cinema at the age of forty, when he became a rather experienced master of his craft, from the picture of Vadim Abdrashitov "Parade of the Planets". From that moment on, his popularity began to grow rapidly. The next films with his participation were "Plumbum, or Dangerous Game" and "Armavir". But the talented actor was not going to stop at the national level, and already in 1990, within the framework of the Soviet-French project, Pavel Lungin's picture "Taxi Blues" was released, where Pyotr Zaichenko was filming in tandem with Pyotr Mamonov.
