Initially, the word "polis", derived from the Latin language, was the name of the state form of organization of Ancient Italy and Ancient Greece. Then, on the territory of those countries, a city-state with a different power and social structure was formed. In the modern world, an insurance document is considered a policy. Insurance is a type of economic relationship that protects the interests of individuals and legal entities. The first policy for a newborn is drawn up by parents, and it is called a certificate of compulsory health insurance. According to the Constitution of the Russian Federation, every citizen of the country has the right to free medical care, but it is provided only if there is an appropriate insurance document. Therefore, parents must apply to the issuing point for compulsory medical insurance policies with an application for obtaining a policy for a child. If a person changes his place of residence, he has the right to receive a new OMS certificate at the place of new registration. With age, people can draw up other types of policies on a contractual basis. This process is carried out by the staff of insurance companies and insurance brokers. All insurance in our country is divided into two types - compulsory and voluntary. Compulsory types of insurance include, for example, compulsory motor third party liability insurance of vehicle owners. According to the current legislation, an OSAGO policy must be issued for all vehicles. Also, Russia has introduced compulsory personal insurance for military personnel and long-distance passengers. In addition, if desired and financially possible, any person can conclude an agreement on voluntary medical insurance (VMI), life insurance, property, animals, etc. For each type of voluntary or compulsory insurance, special standard forms of policies are issued.
