Throughout his life, Vladimir Fedorovich actively fought against criminal crime, helped people and the country, and there are no counts of awards for the dangerous crimes he disclosed."
Biography
Vladimir Fedorovich Chvanov was born in 1923. He took part in the Great Patriotic War. By rank - senior lieutenant, front-line soldier, commanded a penal company and a reconnaissance company. He went to the front line 42 times. He was wounded five times. He had many awards.

Career
Chvanov's career began at the age of 20. The young man was discharged from the front because of a serious injury. But this did not prevent him from being admitted to the 20th police department of Moscow, where he was appointed an operative of the operational brigade of the anti-bandit department of the Moscow Criminal Investigation Department. The former front-line soldier got the most difficult area of Moscow - Maryina Roshcha, teeming with thieves' gangs. It was Chvanov who managed to track down the legendary robber maniac Ionesyan nicknamed "Mosgaz", who terrorized the capital in the mid-60s.
In the seventies of the now last century, police colonel Chvanov headed the secret department “A” in the Main Directorate of Criminal Investigation at Ogareva, 6. And in this department they dealt with a problem that, as it were, did not exist in the "country of developed socialism" - they were developing the organizers of criminal groups. Chvanov quickly mastered the difficult ethics of relations with his "wards". I decided for myself right away that a policeman should certainly never lie and deceive, and if he promised something, he would definitely do it. And in the very last criminal, he tried to see, first of all, a person and always act within the framework of the law.
His Murov bosses - Semyon Degtyarev, Evgeny Bekin, Artur Bragilevsky - changed, and the young opera Chvanov grew up and gained experience.
On Petrovka, 38, Chvanov was invited by Georgy Tylner himself - the deputy head of the Moscow Criminal Investigation Department, a detective who had no equal.
Over the years, he uncovered the thefts in the apartments of famous sculptors Vera Mukhina and Yevgeny Vuchetich, artists of the Bolshoi Theater Ekaterina Geltser, Mark Reisen, Sulamith Messerer and other very famous people. In recent years, Vladimir Fedorovich was engaged in a very urgent problem in one of the police structures - the search for stolen cars. Chvanov's professionalism and flair did not go unnoticed. He was invited to the central office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, where he was instructed to lead the operational department of the criminal investigation department. Work began to take more and more time - sometimes 6 months out of 12. Chvanov had to spend on difficult business trips. But he didn't complain - he loved his job.
Throughout his life, Vladimir Fedorovich Chvanov conscientiously fought against crime. It is difficult to count the numerous awards he has received for his work. All his life he served in the Moscow Criminal Investigation Department, has almost sixty years of operational activity.
Personal life
Until the end of his life, Vladimir Fedorovich never started a family. After the death of his beloved girl, policeman Varvara Sinichkina, he adopted and raised a boy from an orphanage, found by Varya during the service.
