Today, the name and roles of this actress are already a distant history of the middle of the last century. And once Ada Voytsik shone on TV screens, the audience of cinemas applauded her. On account of her more than thirty created images in films of different genres, and her life could well become the basis for the plot of the film.
Biography
Ada Ignatievna Voytsik was born in 1905 in Moscow. Her family was far from the art world, but the girl from an early age dreamed of becoming an actress. She perfectly recited poetry at school evenings, was not afraid to go on stage.
Therefore, after school, I boldly submitted documents to VGIK. And already a third-year student she got her first role, which she coped with brilliantly. It was the film "Forty-first" based on the novel by the writer Lavrenev. This is a tragic love story during the Civil War, when lovers found themselves on opposite sides of the front. This role brought Wojcik the love of the audience and recognition in the director's circles.
Career as an actress
Therefore, before she graduated from VGIK, Ada starred in films of different genres for different directors. And when in 1927 she graduated from the institute, she got another significant role - she played the main role in the film "Bulat-Batyr", and then one of the main roles in the film "Ours and Foes".
Her portfolio included both comedy films and historical dramas, as well as adventure and satirical films.
Soon, a personal tragedy prevented Wojcik from fully acting in films. Even in her youth, she married a novice director Ivan Pyriev, whose career did not develop at first. Ada starred in several of his films, but these works were considered unsuccessful, they were criticized by party censorship, and the director fell into a creative crisis.
Ada supported her husband, but he did not appreciate the efforts of his half, and went to the actress Marina Ladynina. By the way, this woman helped him get together and shoot wonderful pictures.
At first, he was torn between his first wife and second love, but in the end the couple separated. This was a big blow to Wojcik, and she tried to commit suicide.
However, as they say, "work heals", so work put Ada Ignatievna in the acting system. Rather, the role in the film "Dream", where she got the role of Mrs. Wanda. It was easy for her to play a woman who had a personal tragedy, so the role turned out to be surprisingly convincing.
The film was finished just before the war, and they did not release it, because such a dramatic plot would not be in time. In order to overcome the hardships of war, people needed more joyful films.
During the war, the cinema did not remain without work, and Ada starred in the films "Murderers take to the road" (1942), "Once upon a time there was a girl" (1943), "Ivan the Terrible. The second tale: Boyar conspiracy "(1944).
In the fifties and sixties, the roles of Wojcik are becoming less and less, although she still plays in episodes. However, she had such a property - the audience remembered her, even if she appeared in the frame two or three times during the entire film. For example, in the drama "Nine Days of One Year," she played the wife of a scientist who was doomed to die. From one glance, the audience saw what an overwhelming grief lies in the heart of this woman.

After the divorce from Pyryev, the actress never married again - she raised their joint son Eric. He was educated as a director, but did not achieve success in this matter and gave up directing. He died at thirty-nine, before his mother.
