Anna Vasilievna Chapman was born on February 23, 1982. She is a native of the Ukrainian city of Kharkov. Anna was not the only child in the family. She has a younger sister named Catherine. Life and career abroad
In a new country for herself, Anna does not waste time. Quickly getting used to the new environment, she creates a firm called Southern Union. Subsequently, the activities of this company raised a number of questions from British intelligence. The fact is that she actively helped the Africans who were on the territory of the Kingdom, providing them with financial services. However, this assistance was not provided entirely legally: fake companies and false bank accounts were involved.
Between 2004 and 2005, Anna worked for the British bank Barclays. After that, she said, she worked for two years at a company called Navigator, where she was responsible for the placement of shares. But, as it turned out later, the company itself flatly refused to confirm or deny this information.
Homecoming
In 2006 Anna Vasilievna returned to Russia. Here she becomes the founder of a company whose main activity was the search for real estate. In 2011, she became the host of the program "Secrets of the World with Anna Chapman" (now "Secrets with Chapman") on the REN TV channel. The author's program is broadcast to this day.
Personal life
In 2001, while on vacation in the UK, the future spy met her love, a certain Alex Chapman. The couple became husband and wife a year later, however, given Chapman's numerous dubious activities, many come to the conclusion that this marriage was fictitious, and its purpose was only to obtain a Russian citizen of the United Kingdom. In 2006, young people went through divorce proceedings.
