There are many parables about the futile attempts of man to understand the mystery of the existence of God in any of His incarnations. Nevertheless, these attempts not only do not stop, but often become the reason and motive for maintaining the faith and staying in a religious environment.
Instructions
Step 1
Reflections on God are described by many holy fathers of the Christian Church, including Augustine the Blessed in the book "Confessions". Knowing briefly about his biography before the adoption of Christianity at the age of 16 (partying, revelry, debauchery and other excesses of youth), it is difficult to imagine the reason for such drastic changes: in "Confession" Augustine not only repents of his sins, but condemns them and wonders how God still tolerates him alive.
The same book describes reflections on the omnipresence of God, on the mystery of the fulfillment of all matter by His essence. Consider with Augustine how this is possible.
Step 2
Another form of unceasing remembrance of God is prayer. You can read to yourself any prayer that you know, comprehending its obvious and secret meaning, analyzing every word.
Step 3
Read other books by theologians and religious scholars. The truth is not fully revealed to anyone, but you can get closer to it if you work hard.
