Volodymyr Zelenskyy is an actor and showman from Ukraine, head of the show "95 Quarter". In his entire life, he was married only once, and is still happy with his faithful wife Elena.
How it all began
Vladimir, with his short height of 166 cm, was quite popular at school. The showman recalls that he was familiar with all of Elena's classmates, but for some reason never noticed her. For the first time, Zelensky really drew attention to his future wife at the age of 17, when he was a freshman at the Krivoy Rog Economic Institute. When meeting with Kiyashko, Vladimir could not find a way to find out the girl's number. But when he saw in her hands a cassette with the film "Basic Instinct", the pretext arose by itself - the guy borrowed the cassette and, thus, he got the coveted number.
At the time when Vladimir met Elena, she was a student at the Construction Institute and talked with another guy. Vladimir often recalls how he sought the girl. He even made such an offer to his rival: whoever the choice falls on, he stays with her. Elena gave preference to Vladimir. Intelligence, wit and decency - that's what attracted her in her future wife. Zelensky's wife herself claims that she had nothing serious with that young man.
In relation to Vladimir, the parents of Elena Kiyashko were skeptical. Already at that time he was distinguished by sparkling, participated in the amateur theater of miniatures. According to the parents, all this did not fit with the image of a serious young man who can become a diligent family man.
Always together
Elena gradually became involved in the activities of her young man. She liked the creative process so much that she more and more often began to attend his performances, and in the future, rehearsals. At first, she just watched the work of the team, and then gradually began to submit ideas and come up with miniatures herself. Over time, Elena began to travel with the team to other cities, and she was even offered to become a full member of the team.
When Zelensky's team got into the big league, touring became a frequent occurrence. In this regard, lovers often had to part. Perhaps this was the reason that young people almost never quarreled - they appreciated every minute with each other.
Family life
As soon as Elena and Vladimir began a relationship, they both realized that this was serious and for a long time. The young couple was not against the wedding, but due to constant performances, they simply did not have time for this.
In 2003, Vladimir proposed to Elena, and they got married. The girl had been waiting for this offer for 8 years. According to Zelensky, he was encouraged to do this by watching a sincere film with the participation of children. Vladimir wanted his own, and therefore, as soon as the session ended, he asked Elena to become his wife. She herself claims that they simply had more free time.
The following year, a girl was born to Zelensky, who was named Sasha. Elena thought that such a strong name would make the girl a "kid", but the fears were in vain. Alexandra is a sweet, charming and flirtatious girl.
Zelensky's wife has an architectural education - she graduated with honors from the Krivoy Rog Technical University. But, despite this, she did not have a chance to work in her specialty, because she immediately plunged into all the humorous works of Vladimir. She does an excellent job of being a screenwriter. This is evidenced by the success of the Studio 95 Quarter project. It occupies a leading position in Ukraine. "Studio 95 Kvartal" is even more popular than the Ukrainian KVN and "Comedy Club". Elena manages to combine well both work and household chores. She did not quit her job, even when her daughter was little. Elena began to devote less time to work only with the birth of her second child - the son of Kirril, who was born on January 21, 2013, shortly before Vladimir's birthday. The child was born absolutely healthy in one of the famous clinics.
Despite the fact that Elena works quite a lot, you cannot call her a careerist. She devotes a lot of time to raising children, loves to cook culinary masterpieces, from which her husband is delighted. And when the spouses have free time, they like to spend it together, going on trips.
Vladimir loves his wife very much and admits that during the tour he cannot sleep without her. During an interview with Dmitry Gordon, Zelensky said that his wife is his best friend and he trusts her very much. He also says that Elena has a strong positive influence on him.
Although Vladimir and Elena are very different, they have been together for over 20 years. Vladimir is distinguished by an explosive temperament, while Elena, on the contrary, is a calm, reasonable woman. Zelensky greatly values both his wife and children, and is never ready to lose them.
