Much in a person's life depends on the family, on the parents: what they invest in a child from childhood will sooner or later bear fruit. Vera Sotnikova's parents instilled in their children a love of art, and it was thanks to this that they raised the future star of cinema and theater.
Vera was born in 1960 in Volgograd, although at that time he was still Stalingrad. From elementary school, Vera loved to read poetry from the stage, play in school plays and performed at all celebrations. And after lessons I went to all the circles and sections that I could catch.
After school, Vera entered the Saratov Theater School, but she was not accepted. Then the girl returned home and sat down to French - she planned to enter Moscow State University, in foreign languages. However, this time too, it was not possible to enroll due to a lack of the necessary documents.
And then fate played a joke with Vera. The girl decided to go to the audition at the Shchukin School without preparation. She did not hope for luck, so she behaved calmly and relaxed. And a miracle happened - she entered. True, a member of the commission, Andrei Myagkov, had a hand in the miracle - he saw in Sotnikova acting inclinations.
Career in theater and cinema
After college, Sotnikova was taken to the Theater on Malaya Bronnaya. She rarely appeared in films at this time, because she considers the theater to be the main thing for herself. She worked in many theaters: in the theater of Anatoly Vasiliev, in the Moscow Art Theater, in the theater. Mossovet, Theater of the Moon.
In the early 80s, Sotnikova's career in cinema began: the first film was the picture "Confess Guilty." After this work, directors noticed her, and began to invite her to their projects. True, for three years these were only episodes, but Vera's bright appearance was remembered even in small roles.
Later there were more significant roles, and real fame came to Sotnikova when she played in the drama Gu-ha (1989). After that, there were films of different genres - and comedy, and adventure, and drama.
In 2000, the era of serials began, and Sotnikova played many roles in famous serials. One of her brightest works is the role of the singer Lyudmila Zykina in the autobiographical series "Lyudmila", here she had the main role.

Personal life
Vera Sotnikova herself says to herself that she is very amorous, so she had many men. True, there was only one official marriage - with Yuri Nikolsky, the restorer. They had a son, Yan, but after eight months Nikolsky was no longer in the family - he left as soon as material problems began.
The actress had another serious connection with Ernest Pindour, a German entrepreneur. For many years they were in close relations, but they never came to one country - each had his own favorite business in his homeland. Feelings could not stand the separation, and they parted.
For seven whole years Vera lived in a civil marriage with the singer Vladimir Kuzmin, and it seemed to everyone around that this was forever, but the couple broke up.
The last man of Vera Sotnikova is producer Renat Davletyarov. Here the freedom-loving character of the actress and the eastern understanding of the role of a woman in a pair from Renat did not come together. They tried to come to the same denominator, but failed.
Now there are two men in her life - son Yan and grandson Maxim.
