Origins and roots

Modern psychologists argue that the attraction to beauty is inherent in humans at the genetic level. On the other hand, beauty is never in vain, says Olga Lvovna Sviblova, Doctor of Art History. The future director of international photo festivals was born on June 6, 1953 in an intelligent Soviet family. Parents lived in Moscow. His father was engaged in scientific activities in the field of nuclear energy, and his mother taught foreign languages. The child grew and developed in a friendly environment.

From an early age, the girl was prepared for adulthood. They did not shout at her, did not threaten her with a belt. The educational process was unobtrusive. The elders were keenly listening and observing the behavior of their daughter. The girl grew up smart. At a school with a mathematical bias, Olga studied well. But having received a certificate of maturity, she entered the famous Moscow State University, the biological department. After the second year, she changed her mind and transferred to the Faculty of Psychology.

Finding your own niche

Until a certain point, the biography of Olga Sviblova was haphazard. Having received a psychological education, she did not work in this area. However, a chance visit to a contemporary art exhibition made a deep impression on her. She saw with her own eyes how people live outside the generally accepted rules and traditions. Brief communication with representatives of marginal art served as an impetus to the beginning of independent activity. Olga Lvovna decided to organize exhibitions of works that fell out of the mainstream on her own.

The first exhibition of original photographs and paintings was prepared for a long time, painfully and with inspiration. The efforts and time spent have brought a worthy result. Olga was recognized as an expert not only domestically, but also abroad. In parallel with the organization of the Biennale, Sviblova was engaged in shooting thematic films. Her debut painting "Architect Melnikov" received universal recognition and approval. For the documentary film "Black Square" Olga Lvovna received a prize at a festival held in Chicago.

Essays on personal life

Seemingly selfless love for art will not leave a place in the heart for a loved one. In fact, personal life has developed quite well. A professional career didn't get in the way of long-term connections and relationships. The first marriage broke up after a few weeks. The second time Olga married the poet Alexei Parshchikov. The husband and wife lived for eighteen years. Raised a son and parted.

Olga Sviblova, a truly happy art critic, felt like she was in her third marriage. Monsieur Olivier Moran, a French citizen, owner of an insurance company and an exhibition center in Paris, lived for several years under the same roof with an art critic from Russia. He passed away in 2014. Olga continues her business and lives, practically, between Moscow and Paris.
