Rim Khasanov - Soviet and Bashkir composer, member of the Union of Composers of the USSR. Honored Art Worker of the Bashkir Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, People's Artist of the Republic of Bashkortostan and laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Tatarstan named after Gabdulla Tukai is an honorary citizen of the city of Ufa.

The biography of Rim Makhmutovich began in 1947. The child was born in the village of Yazykovo on March 9 in a musical family. From an early age, the boy played various instruments, sang, and learned musical notation on his own. At school, he actively participated in amateur performances. The young composer wrote variations, songs and sonatinas.
At sixteen, Rome became a student at the theater department of the cult-enlightenment school in Sterlitamak. A year later, the young man decided to study at the conductor-choral department of the School of Arts in Ufa. In the third year, the student moved to the theoretical and composer department.
Several works were created in 1968. Highlighted are the string quartet, poems for piano and symphony orchestra, and The Negro Ghetto. In 1968 the young man began his studies at the State Institute of Arts in Ufa. He chose the composition class of Professor Lakin, then studied under the people's artist of the country Ismagilov. Writing activity
In 1973, after completing his college course, Khasanov began work as a medical director at the Gafuri Academic Drama Theater. As the deputy chairman of the board of the organization, Rim Makhmutovich spoke on radio, television, conducted music educational work. He led author's evenings, met with listeners, went on creative business trips.
Since 1978, Khasanov has been exclusively writing music. He left the theater. Since the eighties and early nineties, a large scale has appeared in creativity, the author's technique has become more virtuoso, the scope of style and genre has expanded significantly. Lyric and romantic features were clearly manifested in the creations.
The writer often used the texts of republican poets, and also wrote poetry himself. His creations "Ufa Lindens", "Aklima", "Winter Romance", "My Motherland" gained fame. An important role is assigned to instrumental compositions.
In the Concerto for Piano and Orchestra, the interaction of folklore materials and modern trends is outlined. The sonata for cello and piano demonstrates the complexity of the author's language of music. The cycle "10 miniatures for piano" is focused on following the traditions of children's and national music. In the piano cycle "Temperames", experiments with the timbre-register capabilities of the instrument continued, and microthematic technique was developed.
Tradition and innovation
Khasanov created over 400 ballads, romances and songs. Partially, the creations were included in song collections, released in separate editions, and recorded on discs. The author's works were performed by talented singers, pop stars of Tatarstan and Bashkiria. His talent in writing choral music turned out to be no less.
The composer worked in the genres of odes, cantata, oratorios, and plays. Also symphonic overtures were created, a concert march, poems "Sibay" and "Prometheus" were composed. The choir for Rim Makhmutovich turned into a means of expressing objectively planned lyrics, social ideas.
The result of his diverse activities was the writing of works for the musical theater. In 1979, the ballet "The Legend of the Kurai" based on a Bashkir fairy tale was staged at the Republican State Opera and Ballet Theater.
The choral piece "Kurai-grass" organically echoes the ballet to the words of the author. It is distinguished by melodic smoothness, subtle overflow of harmonic colors and timbre expressiveness. The performances "Salavat", "Fire", and the mono-opera "Yellowed Letters to My Mother" became popular.

Music was created for radio, television and cinema. She accompanied the TV films "Ufv", "Sterlitamak", the radio play "Galia", the motion picture "The Rider on the Golden Horse". From 1994 to 1996, the writer worked in Australia. He created more than three hundred compositions based on poems by Ron Rogers. At the end of 2006, Khasanov's concert in Helsinki took place with triumph.
The composer has written many new songs and plays. Several compositions entered the permanent repertoire of Alsou. In collaboration with Semyon Matochkin, 15 ballads were created. Domestic famous singer Vladimir Troshin recorded their song "Nostalgia".
