Biography
Vasily Malyshev was born at the beginning of the 20th century - in 1900. The mother's gift in the form of a Kodak camera became a landmark for a ten-year-old boy. It was from this age that Vasily began to photograph. But he began to do what he loved professionally only when he was 37 years old.
At this age, Malyshev began working as a correspondent for the Trud newspaper, but he was hired here for a freelance position. And the master became a full-time employee at the TASS agency, when he created photo poses for the organization of the Union of Photographers.
Harsh years
Vasily Malyshev went through the Great Patriotic War. By this time, he was already the chief editor of TASS. The master of photography worked in photographic intelligence, was on various fronts.
When the significant Nuremberg trials took place, Malyshev was sent there as an official photographer.
Creativity and career
When the war ended, the talented artist began working for a press and news agency.
He created many portraits of people, including actors, collective farmers, representatives of various professions.
