Musical takeoff
The artist's biography began in 1965. Sergei was born in Serpukhov near Moscow in the family of a teacher and a military man. Ten years earlier, their parents had their first-born, Alexei. He chose the profession of a doctor, became the head of the dispensary.
From the age of five, Seryozha became interested in music. He studied for 4 years in a jazz studio. The young man continued to receive education at the Moscow Institute of Soviet Trade. In the evenings the student played keyboards in a group, worked as a DJ in the recreation center "Kauchuk". During the day he became a model for the magazine "Knitting" published by his mother.
Since 1989, cooperation began as a keyboard player with the famous singer Dmitry Malikov. Bohdan Titomir became the drummer. Together with his future colleague, Lemokh then worked on backing vocals, dancing with vocalist Vladimir Maltsev. The composition "Paris, Paris" was written for him.
Maltsev became its first performer. Later "Paris, Paris" turned into one of the hits of "Kar-Man". Talented guys found support in the person of the composer and singer Arkady Ukupnik. At the end of 1989, the Kar-Men group was created.
At first, the new team was positioned as an "exotic pop duet" named after the fatal Spanish beauty "Carmen". However, in 1990 the name underwent a transformation, transforming into "Kar-Men". The performers themselves justified such a change with a desire to erase the negative mention of a rival from modern beauties.
Popularity
The debut album "Around the World" was dedicated to life in different countries. The video clips were shot for the hits "Paris, Paris", "London, Goodbye", "Chio-Chio-San". After completing work on the disc, Sergei made a new album "Kar-Mania" without the participation of Titomir, who began his solo career. All the free parts were rewritten and performed by one Sergei.
In 1991 the group took first places in the most prestigious competitions, received the "Ovation" prize, songs were created for Lada Dance and Natalia Gulkina. The third collection has collected the best compositions, remixes of old hits. In 1993 the collective toured the country. Lemokh starred in commercials, participated in the TV show "Marathon-15", recorded the soundtrack for the cartoon "Captain Pronin".
The New Year was marked by two discs - "Live …" and "Russian massive sound aggression". All the songs from them firmly held the top lines of the music charts. After the triumph, there was a lull. It ended only in 1996. The new disc "Your Sexy Thing" was composed of extremely slow tracks. At the same time, they toured Germany and the United States, the group took part in international festivals.
In 1997 the band presented their new remix of the single "Robinson". The premiere took place on the TV show "Surprise from Pugacheva". Lemokh's solo album "Polaris" was released, then "King of the Disc". In 1999, the disc "Back to the Future" was released with remixes of the band's first hits.
The popular project has not lost its relevance to this day. The compositions are still loved. Often they sound in the interpretation of show business stars in popular shows, for example, "Just the same".
Family and music
Unlike creativity, Sergei Mikhailovich does not like to talk about his personal life. It is known that the singer arranged it twice. As an aspiring vocalist, Lemokh met his first darling Natalia. Endless touring tours in the nineties did not give time to stop and settle the family. The wife quickly realized that she had different views on life with her husband.
The wife dreamed of a child, a quiet life, her chosen one strove for a constant creative process, to be in sight and heard. Unable to withstand the burden of glory, the union fell apart. During the marriage, two daughters were born, Lyudmila and Alisa. Both girls received musical education. The eldest tried to realize herself as a DJ, but she quickly realized that the lesson was not for her. The girl is busy with new searches for her niche. As a child, Alice became the host of the TV program "We Didn't Pass It". The artist has two granddaughters - Aurora and Marina.
The band's colleague Ekaterina Kanaeva became the new chosen one of the musician. She managed to create a trusting relationship with her husband's already grown children. The couple does not have a common child, but Sergei does not mind becoming a father for the third time.
Time present
The performer is completely absorbed in creativity. He creates new compositions, mixes popular songs, completes work on a new disc. In 2013 Lemokh founded a new rock band called Carbonrock. The band is recording their first album.
Pictures from his concerts and recreation regularly appear on the network. The plans of the amazingly efficient figure are to expand the boundaries of the audience of listeners. The singer is studying the Internet market. In the future, he has projects that are interesting to people. In 2017, the presentation of "Double Jazzy" took place.
In 2018, Lemokh starred in a commercial for the mobile operator Megafon. The composer and singer continues to perform as part of the Kar-Men group he founded. He tours Europe and Russia.
