Membership in a professional self-regulatory organization (SRO) several years ago became a prerequisite for the implementation of certain types of construction work. For the activities of a construction organization to be legal, it needs not only to become a member of one and certified SRO, but also to obtain admission after paying membership fees and presenting a package of documents confirming its professional competence.

It is necessary

  • - the required amount of the admission fee to the SRO, paid in a lump sum;
  • - monthly amount of membership fees;
  • - a package of documents.

Instructions

Step 1

Check out the general provisions and concepts of self-regulatory construction organizations set out in the Urban Planning Code of the Russian Federation (Chapter 6, Article 55) and the Federal Law "On Self-Regulatory Organizations".

Step 2

Select SRO. More than 300 such partnerships are currently registered in Russia. The selection criteria in this case can be loyalty to current and new members, stable and reliable work of the SRO, the promptness of decision-making on the admission of new members, the size of the entrance fee and monthly deductions, the location of the SRO. The final choice will help you to make the recommendations of the current members of one or another SRO, as well as feedback on its activities from third-party organizations. You can also get the data of interest on the website of this or that organization on the Internet.

Step 3

SRO members can be both legal entities and individual entrepreneurs. In order for this non-profit partnership to provide the necessary quality of work performed by its members, all participants must meet certain professional requirements. To join an SRO, your organization must have at least 3 employees with higher specialized education and work experience in the specialty for at least 3 years, or at least 5 employees with secondary specialized education and at least 5 years of experience.

Step 4

A prerequisite for joining an SRO is the fact that your employees have completed advanced training courses (at least once every 5 years). The organization should also be equipped with all the necessary professional equipment, tools and its own or rented premises for the production of work. And, of course, you must have the funds to pay the entrance fee and pay membership in the SRO on a monthly basis, and you must also collect the entire package of necessary documents.

Step 5

When the above conditions are met, prepare the necessary package of documents including:

- an application for admission to the SRO with an indication of the types of work that the organization plans to perform and the types of admissions that she or the sole entrepreneur intend to issue;

- copies of certificates of registration with the tax inspectorate, entry into the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, statutory documents certified by a notary;

- copies of documents confirming the necessary qualifications of employees and the availability of equipment, tools and premises.

Having assembled the package, you can send the application and documents to the address of the SRO of your choice by mail or hand it in personally if this organization is geographically not very far away.
