Djibril Cisse is a famous French footballer of Ivorian descent. For a long time he played for the French club Auxerre.
Biography
On August 12, 1981, the future footballer Jibril Cisse was born in the small French commune of Arles. The family came from Cote d'Ivoire, there were many children in the family, Jibril was the youngest and seventh in a row. From early childhood, the boy had a great interest in football and even got into the football academy of FC "Nimes".
He spent several productive years in the team. At the age of 15, he appeared at a viewing of another French club, Auxerre. The management liked the promising youngster and was accepted into the youth team. Before signing a serious contract and moving to the main squad, Cisse won the French Youth Cup.
Career
The professional career of a football player dates back to 1998. Then he moved from the Auxerre youth team to the base and signed his first contract with the club. At the start of his career, he also set a record, becoming the youngest professional player in France (the guy was barely 17 years old).
Despite the fact that the footballer had a contract with the main team, he continued to play for the youth team. In the French championship, he made his debut a year after signing a contract in a match against the famous Paris-Saint-Germain. Starting two seasons, he has appeared on the field as a first player only three times.
With the beginning of the new millennium in the season that started in 2000, Djibril established himself at the base of the club and appearing 35 times on the field, he upset opponents 15 times with a goal. The following seasons at Auxerre were no less successful. In total, he played 166 matches for the club and scored 90 goals.
The talented player has long been watched by the Liverpool coach, and in 2004 he was able to persuade the management of the club to sign a new striker. The guy greatly strengthened the team and began to score literally from the first match. But he didn't manage to stay in the team for a long time, after two seasons he left Liverpool. During this time, he managed to score 22 goals, become the owner of the FA Cup. And in 2005, he lifted over his head the most prestigious trophy in Europe - the Champions League Cup. In the same year, he won the UEFA Super Cup with Leaver.
The years at Liverpool were the peak of Cisse's career, after returning to France, at the Marseille club, the player's career began to decline. Jibril lingered nowhere for more than two seasons. The last club today is the Swiss club "Yverdon Sport".
Personal life
Jibril Cisse is married to Judy Littleler. The woman is a famous fashion designer and part-time artist. Together they raise three children: Cassius Clay, named after the famous boxer, Marley Jackson and Prince Kobe. Cisse also has a daughter from Elon's previous marriage.
