Each of us at least once faced the problem of buying a low-quality product. Experiencing an unpleasant feeling of despair and disappointment, not everyone knows what to do in such a situation and who to turn to. In the current situation, when many unscrupulous entrepreneurs conduct business only for "profit", it is simply necessary to know their rights in order not to be deceived.
It is necessary
Patience, aspiration and nerves of iron
Instructions
Step 1
Of course, every time you come to the store you need to be on the alert. Carefully study product labels, expiration dates and storage conditions. A low-quality product can be purchased in absolutely any store, be it household appliances or groceries. But even spoiled sour cream can bring a lot of trouble, not to mention a faulty washing machine, for example.
So, we are carefully examining the product. If in doubt, don't buy it, even if the store manager insists on perfect quality. And be sure to keep your receipts.
Step 2
If it happened that you were still slipped, for example, expired products. Do not hesitate to go to the store within 14 days. Don't talk to sellers, call the manager right away. We advise you to bring your camera with you. First, patiently explain the problem, maybe the spoiled product on the counter was an isolated case. Do not forget to take your purchase receipt, otherwise your claims will be unfounded.
You are obliged, according to the law of the Russian Federation "On Protection of Consumer Rights", to return the money or exchange it for a quality product and apologize.
In stores of large chains, where they are very attentive to customers, they will do so in order to preserve their reputation.
Step 3
Sellers often not only refuse to exchange goods, but also speak rudely and threaten. The main thing is not to worry, this is not legal! No need to shout and get nervous, although it is difficult to do … Go to the department of consumer protection in your city. There they will listen to you and, based on the law, make a decision in your favor. Write a statement of claim in duplicate and return to the store. Ask to sign the manual for both claims and keep one option for yourself. Worried store managers will be afraid of Consumer Protection controls and will refund your money.
Step 4
If this does not help, then feel free to go to court to file a claim for legal proceedings with an expired product, a receipt and a statement from the consumer protection department. Do not forget to indicate the desired amount of compensation for non-pecuniary damage.
Step 5
If you bought a product, and, for example, the equipment indicated on the package does not match with the actual one. Then the claims need to be made, not to the store, but to the manufacturer. The main thing is to remember that no one has the right to deceive you. You pay money for quality, not wasted nerves. Stay confident that you are right and punish dishonest treatment of your customers.
The RF Law "On Protection of Consumer Rights" should become a reference book for any person. Forewarned is forearmed.
