Step 1
According to the law, if you find defects in a product after purchasing it, you can contact the seller, manufacturer or service center. You have the right to demand from the seller free of charge elimination of defects, reduction of the purchase price or reimbursement of expenses for repairs and correction of these defects. You can also request replacement of a defective product with a similar or similar one. The buyer also has the right to terminate the contract with the seller and demand reimbursement of the value of the goods.
Step 2
You can contact directly the company that manufactured the low-quality goods. In this case, you must eliminate the identified defects free of charge or replace the product with another product of a similar brand. In the service center, the address of which is in the documentation for the product, you are obliged to eliminate the identified deficiencies free of charge.
Step 3
You can present the demand for the return or exchange of goods orally to the seller, bringing the goods and the cashier's receipt to the store. This is usually sufficient if the warranty period has not yet expired. Sometimes the seller may require a written statement or an independent expert opinion that the item was sold defective. In this case, you will have to act through the court, which will oblige the seller to pay for the examination and exchange the goods.
Step 4
You must send the defective product and a copy of the payment document to the manufacturer, enclosing a written statement with a request to exchange the defective product. Its design is not regulated by certain documents. Write in it when and where you purchased the product, describe the identified deficiencies and state the request for replacement for a similar or similar product, attach copies of documents confirming postage to the application.
Step 5
If you are not satisfied with the proposed exchange and decided to return your money from the seller by terminating the sale and purchase agreement, then the application should also contain a request to terminate the corresponding agreement concluded with such and such a number and indicate to which account or address the money should be transferred for a low-quality product … If the product was sold without concluding a contract, then simply describe all the identified shortcomings of the product and ask to return its value to you. Your application must be reviewed and approved within 10 days, therefore, if you send it by mail, then the letter must be with a confirmation of receipt.
