Biography

The future poet was born on March 27, 1913 in the Vologda region, namely in the village of Bludnovo. Sasha grew up in a poor family. Sasha's father died when the child was 3 years old. After 2 years, Alexander's mother married another man. The stepfather treated Sasha very rudely, forcing him to work in the field for almost the whole day. Sasha turned 8 years old, and he went to study in the city of Nikolsk. In this school, the boy finished 7 classes and after that he entered the pedagogical institute.

The beginning of creativity

From the very school, Sasha liked to write poems, as the teachers said, he had great potential. When Sasha was 15 years old, he began to submit his works to newspapers. Alexander's first poem was published in the Nikolsky Kommunar newspaper. Yashin is not the boy's real surname, it's just a pseudonym, the boy's real surname is Popov.

More and more often, the poems of the young writer got into newspapers and magazines. In the 31st year, Sasha finished his studies and got a job in his specialty, he worked as a village teacher in his native village. In 1932, Popov went to live in Vologda. After 2 years, Sasha publishes a collection of poetry: "Songs of the North". In the same year, Sasha wrote the song "Four Brothers", for which he received an award.

At the age of 22, Popov moved to Moscow and entered the Gorkov Institute. Three years later, Sasha released the second collection, which was named "Severyanka". In the 41st year, Sasha finished his studies and went to the front, Yashin was awarded medals for his services.

Artworks

In the 49th year, Sasha wrote the poem "Countrymen" and "Soviet Man". Yashin became famous thanks to the poem "Hurry to do good deeds." In the 54th year, Sasha took part in the 2nd Congress of Soviet Writers. Since 56, Popov wrote several works: "Levers", "Visiting his son", "Vologda wedding".

Personal life

Sasha got married twice. The first wife gave the poet a son and two daughters, and the second wife gave two sons and two daughters. Truly the poet loved only Veronica Tushnova, a Russian woman who also wrote poems. Alexander and Veronica met in the 60th year and immediately fell in love with each other. As you know, Tushnova dedicated her last book to Aleksandr Popov. Yashin could not leave his family and decided to break off all relations with Veronica. In the 65th year, Veronica contracted cancer and died.

Death of Alexander

Alexander Popov died of cancer on July 11, 1986. Before his death, Sasha asked to be buried in his native place, in the village of Bludnovo. Yashin lived an excellent life.
