After the release of the serial film "Born by the Revolution" on the country's television screens, the actor who played the main role won the popular love of the audience. The story of a simple guy who went from an ordinary employee of internal organs to the honorary title of general impressed the worldview of the Soviet people.

Childhood

Muscovite Yevgeny Zharikov, who was born at the end of February, fatal for the country, 41, spent his early childhood near Moscow, under the tutelage of his grandmother and grandfather. The sixth and smallest child in the family was early accustomed to physical labor, which favorably influenced the formation of his masculine qualities - he was never a "white-handed".

On the whole, the family was intelligent. The writer Leonid Zharikov (according to the documents - Ilya) and his mother, a teacher, historian and philologist, had a large library in the house and formed an early love for literature in the boy.

Parents saw their son as a student of a technical university, but the young man did his own thing and, at the age of 18, conquered the admissions office of VGIK. T. Makarova and S. Gerasimov became his mentors. And although he did not have much zeal for the acting profession, the famous teachers did their job, already in his second year, Eugene begins to act in films.

Creation

The acting career of the young Zharikov immediately began to take shape more than successfully. Following the first filming, he received an offer to work for Andrei Tarkovsky in the famous film "Ivan's Childhood", and immediately after graduating from the institute, he leaves under a contract to the GDR, where he starred in the main role of the series.

Returning from Germany, Yevgeny Zharikov becomes a sought-after actor, often acts in films, his filmography includes more than 65 films. There are many leading roles, the actor is recognizable.

In 1970, the artist became a member of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. During the years of the existence of the totalitarian state, this fact determined a lot in the fate and career of any person, not only an artist. The actor's track record includes a considerable number of roles of historical figures.

The professional path of the famous artist runs quite smoothly, even in the difficult 90s. Only illness knocked him out of the rut.

Personal life

Evgeny Zharikov was officially married twice.

The relationship with Valentina Zotova, figure skating coach, broke up after 12 years. The family was never able to have children.

The next and last chosen one of the artist was a colleague in the workshop Natalya Gvozdikova. The couple lived together until the death of the actor, raised their son Fedor.

The actor admitted that from childhood he was amorous, he liked adoration and female company.

Throughout his life, he had many novels on the side, there are two illegitimate children, whom he did not abandon even after the scandal of their mother, journalist T. Sekridova. From his pension and rare part-time jobs at creative meetings, he allocated funds for material support for his son and daughter.

Evgeny Ilyich Zharikov died at the age of 70, was buried at the Troekurovsky cemetery, on the actor's alley.
