Talented self-taught

Medvedeva has no special education. For this she thanks fate. Despite the naive style and nature of the works, the creator of the paintings herself is a spiritually mature and professional person. She defends her right to her own vision of art, the expression of her worldview, has its own core.

Katya calls herself a happy artist.

For her, every canvas is a spiritual holiday. Even about the real tragedies, her works tell the language of pure and light. A chicken chasing a rooster is an allegory on the theme of abandoned children. The ironic signature under the canvas raises a serious and difficult question. The viewer is invited to think about it without judging anyone.

At first, Katya was very worried about ill-wishers and negative reviews. However, after the grief, there were always those who encouraged the artist. She believes that after parting with an evil person, a good person takes his place. At one time, Ekaterina Ivanovna did not engage in painting to order. She chose her art.
