Seydou Doumbia is an Ivorian footballer, black striker of the Spanish Girona, a regular player of the Ivory Coast national team, distinguished by serious achievements in the Russian club CSKA, a charismatic athlete, Muslim and a fan of computer games.
Biography
The dates of birth of the football player are called different - either December 31, 1987, or June 16, 1985, but only one thing can be said for sure that the football player was born in the city of Abidjan. Seydou Doumbia's family was very poor, in fact, therefore he himself does not know his exact birthday - he and his three brothers had to survive and the boys did not think about birthdays.
The only entertainment for Seydoux as a child was street football. There his game was noticed by the representative of the football school. So in 1999 the striker got into the Santre Formation d'Inter children's football team.
Career
Seydou Doumbia's first professional club was Athletic D'Ajame. In this team, the footballer played 33 games extremely effectively, where he scored 34 goals.
Further, from 2004 to 2006, the striker played in two local Ivorian teams, ASEC Mimosas and Dengele. In total, he played 34 games and scored 26 goals. And so in 2006 he moved to the Japanese team Kashiva Reisol, but this team did not work out and the striker was loaned to another Japanese club, Tokushima Vortis.
In Tokushimi he played 16 matches and scored seven goals. And already in 2008 the striker was noticed in Europe, namely in Switzerland, by the Young Boys club. In Switzerland, Seydou Dumia took part in 64 matches and traditionally scored a decent number of goals, namely 50.
And in 2010, the striker moved to the Moscow CSKA team, where he played 95 matches and scored 61 goals, while becoming a 3-time Russian football champion and a 2-time Russian Cup winner. After four successful seasons in the camp of Muscovites, the player moved to the Italian “Roma”, but in the company of the Romans, the Ivorian did not work out. In 13 games the player scored only 2 goals. Roma bosses decided to let the forward on leases.
For 2 years the player has been on loan at four clubs: CSKA, Newcastle, Basel and, finally, Sporting Lisbon. The most successful period was in Swiss Basel - 20 goals were scored in 25 matches, with this contribution the Ivorian helped his team to become the Swiss champion in football.
Since August 28, 2018, Seydou Doumbia, a player of the Spanish "Girona", he moved there as a free agent. At the moment, the transfer value of the striker is estimated at 3.5 million euros. In the national team of Côte d'Ivura, the player played 38 matches and scored 9 goals. In 2015, together with the national team, he won the African Cup of Nations.
Personal life
We do not know much from the personal life of the Ivorian striker. The famous football player is married, he has a daughter, does not engage in any adventures, loves computer entertainment. He is fond of ethnic African music and out of the field leads a quiet life with his family, and his wife calls him "the ideal dad."
I would love to see Seydou Doumbia at the same level, but it seems that his career has gone into decline.
