Step 1
First of all, you need to obtain a medical certificate of death. If a person died at home, especially after an illness, a certificate will be issued without any problems at the local district clinic. To do this, you must provide the passport of the deceased and his medical documentation (policy and card). But it happens that the doctor cannot make an accurate conclusion about the causes of death. In this case, he sends the body for a forensic autopsy. Please be aware that the autopsy may be canceled on your request.
Step 2
After the certificate is in your hands, contact the district registry office to obtain a death certificate. It is issued upon presentation of a medical certificate of death, the passport of the deceased and the passport of the recipient.
Step 3
Seeing off the deceased on his last journey, you should dress him with dignity. For the man, prepare underwear, socks, a suit, shirt, tie, boots or slippers. For a woman - underwear, stockings or tights, a dress, preferably with long sleeves, a light shawl over her head, shoes or slippers.
Step 4
By law, the state pays a burial allowance. It can be received by spouses or other close relatives, as well as by a person who has taken on the responsibility to carry out the burial. This allowance is issued through the social protection authorities of the population at the last place of residence of the deceased or by the enterprise where he served.
Step 5
Believers need to go to church on the eve of the burial and order a commemoration and funeral service. Inform relatives and friends in advance about the mournful date of the funeral. People are not invited to the commemoration, people come on their own to pay a debt to the memory. Nowadays, many organize a memorial service in a cafe so as not to cook at home, especially in summer.
