Maria Berseneva is a Russian theater and film actress who has gained immense fame for her excellent performance of the leading role in the TV series "Margosha". Maria's path to popularity was long and full of obstacles …
Biography
Beresneva Maria Vladimirovna was born on May 30, 1981 in Moscow in a sports family. Dad was a professional karate player, and his mother devoted almost her entire life to speed skating, she also taught at the Moscow Aviation Institute. It is not surprising that Maria from childhood was instilled with a love of sports. She attended many sports sections, but she was particularly successful in swimming and gymnastics. The girl even had a nickname - bloody mary, due to constant bruises and scratches. Later, Maria learned to combine sports sections with playing the guitar, singing in a choir and even ballroom dancing. As a fully developed child, she was very fond of and interested in theater, from elementary grades she participated in all school productions. The question of the future profession was decided by itself, in the 5th grade Maria entered the lyceum at GITIS, and then entered the pop department of the corresponding institute. In 2002, after successfully passing the state exams, she received a long-awaited diploma.
Career
As often happens, the directors did not immediately notice and turned their attention to the young actress. Since her figure and appearance from an early age were the envy of others, Maria decided to try herself in the modeling business. For several years of work, she took part in dozens of photo shoots, starred in several commercials, but realized that this was not what she dreamed of, and stayed in this job until some interesting role turned up. But almost all of her roles were secondary, insignificant and did not bode well for any future prospects - she played secretaries, girls of easy virtue, etc., her name was not even always in the subtitles. However, time passed, and in 2007 Maria was offered the role of Anna Zaitseva in the series "Mothers and Daughters", after which she was finally recognized. Then there were filming in the series "Champion" and "Provincial", but they did not bring much popularity. Real changes in her career began in 2008, when Maria came to the casting of the TV series "Margosha", where she confidently bypassed her rivals and got the main role, but for this she needed to change her hair color, since according to the script the main character was blonde. Maria did not want such changes in her appearance, and, at the risk of losing her role, flatly refused to dye her hair. After some deliberation, the directors nevertheless agreed to Masha's terms. This series brought the actress wild popularity, allowed Maria to receive the Best Actress award. Further, Berseneva was showered with new proposals, from which there is no end to this day.
Personal life
Immediately after the institute, Maria married businessman Guram Cofenlu, from whom she gave birth to a son. The marriage was short-lived and the couple soon filed for divorce. In 2007, the actress tied the knot with Nikolai Beresnev, but two years later divorced him due to a busy filming schedule. Now Maria is free and is looking for a suitable man to create a strong family.
