Yuri Iosifovich Vizbor was born on June 20, 1934 in Moscow. He has Ukrainian maternal roots, and his father is Lithuanian by nationality. Mother - Maria Grigorievna (maiden name Shevchenko) has visited more than 40 countries in her life and worked for 30 years in the USSR Ministry of Health. Back in 1938, my father was sentenced to death for belonging to a counter-revolutionary nationality. In 1958 he was rehabilitated posthumously.

Childhood and adolescence of Yuri

Yura grew up as a talented boy. By his own confessions, at the age of 14 he wrote his first poem. Yura studied at the Moscow secondary school No. 659, from which he graduated in 1951. For higher education, he wanted to choose one of three universities:

  2. Moscow State University Lomonosov
  3. Moscow State University of Geodesy and Cartography.

But the young man did not enter any of these educational institutions, since he did not pass the entrance exams. For the fourth time, luck smiled at him, and he was enrolled in the Lenin Moscow State Pedagogical Institute. As Yuri himself said, this educational institution was advised by his best friend Volodya (Vladimir Krasnovsky). Even at school, they played the guitar together, and at the university, Yuri participated in amateur performances, which were actively developing there. With fellow students, Yuri went on tourist trips to the Podposkovye and Karelia. Memories of these travels became the theme for the first lyrics written by Yuri.

In addition, it was Yuri Vizbor who became the author of the anthem of the Moscow State Pedagogical Institute (MGPU).

Army years

Yuri received his diploma of higher education in the specialty "Russian language and literature" in 1955. In the summer, he worked as a teacher in one of the secondary schools in the Arkhangelsk region. And on the autumn prize, together with their friend Volodya, they were called up for military service. They served in different military units located in the Republic of Karelia.

This period in Vizbor's life was not in vain. He devoted a collection of works about the army service. In addition, about the same period, he wrote poetry and music for the song "Blue Mountains".

He completed his military service in the fall of 1957. In the same year he started working as a journalist.

Creative way

In 1962 he took part in the creation of the Yunost radio station. He continues to write poetry and music, at the same time he begins his concert activity. Since 1967, has starred in films:

  1. July rain.
  2. Retribution.
  3. Red tent.
  4. Rudolfio.
  5. You and me, as well as many others.

In 1976 he was admitted to the Union of Cinematographers of the USSR.

Personal life

During his life, Yuri was married four times:

  1. In 1958 he married Ada Yakusheva. In marriage, a daughter, Tatyana, was born.
  2. In 1967 he married a second time. The actress Evgenia Uralova became the chosen one. In this marriage, Yuri also had a girl, who was named Anya.
  3. For the third time, he married the artist Tatyana Lavrushina, but the marriage lasted only a few months.
  4. In 1979 he married journalist Nina Tikhonova.

Yuri Vizbor died in 1984 from liver cancer at the age of 50. Buried in Moscow at the Kuntsevo cemetery.
