Pavel Kassinsky is a Russian theater and film actor. He gained mass recognition thanks to filming in popular TV series. Most often, the actor plays the role of negative characters.
Biography
Pavel was born in the city of Odessa on August 17, 1976. His father, Roman Kartsev, was a popular pop artist, periodically acted in films, worked in the theater. Kartsev was awarded the title of People's Artist of the Russian Federation.
Mother - a former corps de ballet dancer Victoria Pavlovna Kassinskaya. Pavel also had an older sister, Lena, who graduated from medical school and became a pharmacist.
In 1979, the family moved to Moscow, where Pavel graduated from high school.
As a child, Kassinsky began to appear in the children's comic magazine "Yeralash". Studio agents selected ordinary schoolchildren for samples, among whom was Pavel. The boy liked working at Yeralash, he starred in eight issues of the children's newsreel.
Surprisingly, even after many years, Kassinsky is sometimes recognized as an actor from Yeralash. According to the plot of one of the episodes, Pavel needed to eat eclairs, on the set he ate more than twenty cakes. Since then, the actor has hated eclairs.
While still a schoolboy, Kassinsky made his debut in big cinema. In 1990 he played Gosha in the famous film "My Husband is an Alien".
After leaving school, Pavel tried to enter the Shchukin School (acting department), but failed. He entered medical school, but after a while he dropped out, realizing that medicine was not his vocation.
Then Pavel studied at the Institute of Television, was engaged in various projects related to advertising and PR. In the 2000s, he tried his hand at music, sang disco funk and began recording his own music album.
As for the actor's personal life, he keeps it a secret. It is only known that Paul is married and has two sons with his wife.
The death of his father was a big blow for Kassinsky. Kartsev's son considered him a real talent and a great actor, and calls his creative activity a hobby.
Creative work
At first, Kassinsky, together with his father, played in a play based on the works of Kharms. Then he began acting in films and television series, playing small, but very memorable characters. Most often, he gets the role of negative characters, mostly criminals.
In addition, the actor periodically starred in commercials. One of his notable works was the role of Sergeant Ryleev, nicknamed "Snout" in the series "Soldiers" by Sergei Arlanov. The image of the army "grandfather" turned out to be very bright and colorful. Moreover, Kassinsky himself never served in the army.
An interesting fact: the shooting of the series took place in a real active military unit, and the officers admitted that even they sometimes confused real military personnel with actors.
Also among the successful works of Kassinsky can be distinguished the films "Blue Nights", "Still, I love …", as well as participation in the popular youth TV series "Interns", "The Abduction of Eve", "Eighties" and "Sashatanya". One of the last notable works of Kassinsky - shooting in the TV series "The Secret City".
Currently, Pavel continues to work in film and television, participates in new projects.
