Childhood, adolescence
Alexander was born on March 22, 1961. The family lived in Kiev, his parents were engineers. As a child, Sasha went to the music. school, where he mastered the piano, guitar. The boy moved away as an amateur, played in performances. He was the creator of the ONO group, which performed the Beatles and Slade songs.
After school, Tsekalo began to study in absentia at the Technological Institute of Leningrad, at the same time he worked in a chemical laboratory. Then he was an adjuster. Later, Alexander worked as a stage mounter, lighting in the theater.
Creative career
At a young age, Tsekalo organized the Hat quartet. Soon they came to the attention of the teachers of the variety and circus school in Kiev, who invited all members of the group to study. They were enrolled in the 2nd year. After college, Tsekalo was assigned to work at the Odessa Philharmonic. There he met Milyavskaya, they created the duet "Academy". It happened in 1986.
In 1988, the couple decided to conquer the capital, they had to solve many problems. Thanks to their dedication, the duo got on TV, they made their debut in the program "Sergei Minaev's Disco". Many of their songs later became hits. For the compositions "Tu-Tu-Tu", "I am offended" the duet received the "Golden Gramophone". The project existed for 15 years, there were many tours, 7 albums were released.
Once Tsekalo and Milyavskaya met Vladimir Tsukanov, he invited Sasha to make a script for the program "Morning Mail". So they became the presenters. In 2000, the duo broke up. Later Tsekalo worked in the theater "Quartet I", then Alexander produced musicals. In 2006, he became the host of Channel One: Games of the Mind. In 2007, Tsekalo became the general producer of Channel One. A year later there was a reorganization, and the artist continued to work as a presenter. Personal life
Tsekalo concluded his first marriage with Alena Shiferman. This happened at the time when he created the "Hat" group. But a year later, she and Alena broke up. The second wife of Alexander is Lolita Milyavskaya. The marriage lasted 10 years, they had a daughter, Eva. The breakup of the group coincided with a divorce.
Then Alexander had a long relationship with Yana Samoilova, starting in 2000. However, the couple broke up. Tsekalo married again in 2008, Victoria Galushka, the sister of the singer Brezhneva, became his chosen one. Tsekalo became a father again, Victoria gave birth to a son, and then a daughter.
