Michel Gondry is known to Russians for such films as "Rewind", "Science of Sleep", "Pure Radiance of Eternal Mind." His "Kinofabrika" is located in the center of contemporary culture "Garage" in Gorky Park. For a while, improvised pavilions appeared in the "Garage", where the filmmakers will find various decorations - a train compartment, a cafe, a prison, a part of a car with a background moving behind it. If the filmmakers need any other set, they can quickly be created from the materials at hand.

Participation in the project is absolutely free, those wishing to take part in the filming of the film need only register as a participant by calling 8 903 219 0291. There are a lot of applicants, so you should hurry up. The entire filming cycle lasts three hours. Someone will say that this is very little, but Gondry's experience refutes this statement. His style is different in that he creates his creations literally from what is at hand. Of course, it is impossible to make a full-length film in three hours, but it is quite possible to create a short video in which its authors can demonstrate all their abilities and talents. The genre of short films is also interesting, which allows you to accommodate all the most important things in a short time allotted to the narration. Michel Gondry himself shoots many short films, some of which the project participants will be able to get acquainted with at the "Kinofabrika".

Filming at the "Kinofabrika" is carried out as follows: first, the project coordinator explains to the audience the basic principles of work, then the participants develop a plot and assign roles among themselves. Collective creativity in this case is a tribute to the necessity, since it is very difficult to make a film alone - in particular, the filmmaker will still need actors, who are the participants themselves. Then, having received everything they need for filming, they go to the set, they have 45 minutes to make a film. By this time, they already have a developed script and distributed roles, so the filming process is moving fast enough. Its creators can watch the finished film right there in the cinema hall. They will get one copy of the film as a keepsake, the second will remain at the Kinofabrika. The project will run until the end of September.
