On October 13, 2002, the first program "Star Factory" was shown on the screens of the country. More than ten years have passed, but the graduates of this project are known and loved to this day. In total, during this time, Channel One went on seven seasons of the show, which released new stars to life and two super-seasons, where graduates of different "factories" met.
The first "Star Factory"
The first "Star Factory" became a phenomenon in Russian show business and instantly gained popularity, primarily among the teenage audience. Young people got bored with the same performers moving from one channel to another, young people wanted to see new faces. 16 people were selected under the guidance of music producer Igor Matvienko. They were settled in the "Star House" and began to turn into Russian pop stars. Not everyone withstood the "star" imprisonment with dignity, scandals were not complete. But in the end, Russia got new idols.
The first place in the project was taken by the group "Roots", which included Pavel Artemiev, Alexander Astashenok, Alexander Berdnikov and Alexey Kabanov. The second place went to the Fabrika group, which consisted of some girls - Maria Alalykina, Irina Toneva, Sati Kazanova and Alexander Savelyev. The third place was taken by Mikhail Grebenshchikov. Subsequently, the composition of the groups has undergone changes, but they all still work on the stage.
Since the project "Star Factory" was a novelty, it was almost necessary to bring the participants to the casting. Many were mistrustful, auditions were even held in music schools.
