Sending a parcel by cash on delivery is no more difficult than a regular one. The only difference is that you will have to fill out an additional form in order to later receive your money by postal order, as well as draw up an inventory of the investment. You will still have to pay to ship the package, so keep those costs in mind when you price your package.
It is necessary
- - packaging;
- - completed forms;
- - passport.
Instructions
Step 1
Buy a parcel box of the right size from the nearest post office to pack everything at home, or pack everything directly in the post office - whichever is more convenient for you. Do not forget to take all the necessary forms: a special form for parcels with cash on delivery (form 117), a form of cash on delivery postal order (form 113) and two forms for an investment inventory (form 107).
Step 2
Place all the items you intend to send in the prepared box. Make sure that there are no voids between items, fill in the gaps with newspaper, or get a roll of bubble wrap - you can buy it at construction stores. Do not seal the box - the postal worker will do this after they have verified your attachments and certified the inventory.
Step 3
Write on the box the recipient's address and his full name, as well as your details. Do not forget to fill in the columns "Declared value" and "Cash on delivery" - they are in the upper right corner above the address. The sum in these columns must be the same. In this case, rubles are indicated in words, and kopecks in numbers.
Step 4
Fill out the parcel form - a sample can be viewed here: https://bit.ly/yLf4Ja. Fields that the sender must fill out are outlined in bold. Be sure to indicate your passport details and put a personal signature confirming that you are familiar with the rules, and there are no prohibited attachments in your parcel. Do not forget to fill in the bottom part - the parcel notice. You do not need to fill in the reverse side of the form.
Step 5
Fill out the cash on delivery transfer form (https://bit.ly/wiScA4). You should also fill in only the front side of the form - on the sample, a gray strip runs through it. Do not confuse - this time in the "To" column you will need to indicate your postal coordinates or bank details. Data about the person to whom you are sending the parcel, enter in the coupon at the bottom left of the form in the columns "Addressed" and "To the name". You will need to fill in the reverse side of the form later - when the paid transfer comes back to you.
Step 6
Fill out the list of attachments (https://bit.ly/zJI1Kk) in two copies - one copy, certified by the postal worker, will be sent to the recipient along with the parcel, the second will remain with you. If the name of the item that you are going to send does not fit on one line, you can take several lines. Do not forget to include the grand total - the number of items sent and their total cost. The cost must necessarily coincide with the declared value (it is also the amount of cash on delivery).
Step 7
Give the package and all completed forms to the postal worker. Also, for verification, give your passport or other document proving your identity. Wait a while for the postal worker to make all the necessary marks, seal your parcel and calculate the cost of the shipment. Pay for the service and take back your passport, your copy of the list of attachments and postal receipt (check).
