Not everyone knows that money transfers can be sent not only through banks. Russian Post also provides similar services. But in order to make a bank transfer, you need to know what is needed for this and how much it will cost.
It is necessary
- - money to transfer and pay for the service;
- - passport;
- - the name and address of the person to whom the money is intended.
Instructions
Step 1
Choose the type of postal order that suits you best. Russian Post provides several types of such services, differing in cost and delivery speed. The CyberMoney system operates on the territory of Russia and the former Soviet states, you can get a transfer at any post office. The cost of the service depends on the amount and the country to which you are sending money: in Russia - up to 5%, in other countries - up to 7% of the transfer amount. In addition to this, a flat fee of 25 rubles is charged (data for 2012).
Step 2
You can also ship via Western Union. This system is not available in all post offices. The cost of sending money in such a system is higher, but it has its own advantages - money arrives within a few hours, it can be sent almost all over the world.
Step 3
Having decided how you want to send the required amount, come to the post office with your passport. Fill out a special money transfer form, in which you need to indicate your last name, first name and patronymic, address, passport number, amount and purpose of the transfer, recipient coordinates - name and address. When sending Western Union, it will be enough to indicate the country and city where the person lives. Check that the information you have given is correct.
Step 4
Give the form and money to the post office worker. From him you will receive a paper that the transfer has been completed. In some cases, a special verification code will be indicated on it, which you will have to inform the addressee. Without it, receiving money will be impossible. Also warn the person to whom you are sending money that he can only receive it with a passport.
