It is necessary

  • - international passport;
  • - internal passport;
  • - departure sheet.

Instructions

Step 1

If you still have a Russian registration and do not want to lose it, but nevertheless want to be able, for example, to participate in the elections of the President of Russia or the State Duma, you can notify the Consulate of the Russian Federation about your presence in the country. To do this, find the address of the consulate closest to your place of residence (this can be done via the Internet or using the directory of organizations in your city), apply there personally with your passport and photograph. Fill out the registration card that the staff will give you. After that, you will be considered registered at the consulate. This registration can be issued not only by persons permanently residing abroad, but also by Russian tourists.

Step 2

If you want to register exactly on the consular register, first check out of Russian housing. This can be done when traveling to Russia or through a consulate. But it should be noted that the latter method will be quite long, and you will have to pay a fee for consular services. In addition, you will need a civil and international passport. Upon successful deregistration, the mark "Deregistered" should appear in your internal passport, and you will also be given a so-called "departure sheet", which should indicate which country you are leaving for permanent residence.

Step 3

After that, take care of the actual consular registration. To do this, come to the embassy in person with all the documents, draw up an application in the prescribed form, and also fill out the registration card, if you have not done so before. After that, if your application is satisfied, your passport will be stamped with consular registration. When traveling to Russia, in case of checking the documents, you will have to present exactly the passport with this stamp.

Step 4

If you decide to move to another country or return to Russia, you will need to de-register. As a result, a new stamp will be put in your passport, and you will receive a certificate of deregistration.
