Since childhood, Olga studied at a music school, being especially carried away by performing folk songs and dreaming of becoming a famous artist.

After graduating from high school, Khokhlova entered the acting department of the Far Eastern Institute of Arts. It was in the workshop of A. Mamontova that Olga Vladimirovna received the necessary basic knowledge, which she subsequently was able to successfully implement. In 1987 she graduated from her university and entered the service at the Primorsky Regional Theater in Vladivostok. Here she made her stage debut and played many diverse roles.

However, the ambitions of the young actress did not allow her to be content with what she had achieved, and she set off to conquer Moscow in the mid-nineties. The minute meeting with Konstantin Raikin in the "Satyricon" ended with a deafening failure, after which Khokhlova plunged into a powerful depression. She was dissuaded from returning to Vladivostok by a native of Primorye - Olga Drozdova, who at that time was already a famous actress.
