What to do if your mobile phone is stolen? First of all, react. For example, if you find a loss in a crowded place, then try the following actions: Call your phone, perhaps the thief has not turned it off yet, and you will hear a familiar call.

Write an SMS in which you promise a large reward for the phone. Perhaps a thief will be interested in your proposal. But at the same time, check the delivery report, and suddenly they have already got rid of the SIM card, which means that you will have to move on to other actions.

Perhaps Bluetooth was turned on on the phone, then try to find it by searching for devices from another phone, perhaps the phone will be found nearby (it's good if you changed the standard phone name to something else in the settings in advance).

If all the previous methods turned out to be useless, then just go to write a statement to the police. To do this, take with you all the documents that confirm that you are the owner of the phone (check, box with a warranty card).

Go to the branch that is located near the place of theft. In the application, indicate that the phone was stolen, because if you write that the phone was lost under unexplained circumstances, then a criminal case will not be opened. Also indicate the brand, color, price of the phone, do not forget to describe the circumstances under which your phone was stolen. You will also need to know the IMEI code of the phone. You can see it on the box, in the warranty card, this code is unique for each device. With its help, police officers will be able to locate the phone.

Contact the operator company, ask for a printout of the last calls from your number. Perhaps the thief called using your SIM card, then the police will work out these numbers. If the thief managed to get rid of the SIM card, then finding it, of course, will be much more difficult, it is believed that if the phone is not found within a month, then most likely it will not be found at all. But do not despair, you can still restore your number. To do this, contact your operator, he will block the old card, and after a while you will be given a new one, the number and even the balance will be saved.
