If you are unable to contact the addressee to whom the parcel was sent, you can find out about its receipt using a special online service on the official website of the Russian Post.
It is necessary
- - a check issued at the post office when the parcel was sent;
- - a computer;
- - access to the Internet.
Instructions
Step 1
When registering a parcel at the post office of Russia, receive a check containing the so-called postal identifier. It is usually located under the receipt number.
If the parcel was sent from one Russian settlement to another Russian settlement, the postal identifier is a set of 14 digits. And for international shipment (from Russia abroad or vice versa), a combination of letters and numbers is possible in it. Save this receipt.
Step 2
After a certain time after sending the parcel, go to the main page of the official website of the Russian Post (you can see the deadlines for shipment on the same resource in the corresponding section). In the "Services" section, select the item "Postage tracking" and click on it. The system will offer you to track all the stages of forwarding a postal item by postal identifier.
Step 3
In the "Postal identifier" field, enter the required combination of numbers if you are checking a shipment within Russia, or letters and numbers if you are checking an international shipment. It should be borne in mind that you need to dial the number without brackets and spaces, even if they are in your receipt. Then click on the "Find" function.
Step 4
If you have specified the postal identifier correctly, the system will show all the information registered in its databases about the shipment of the mail item you need: when and at which post office the parcel was received, where processing, sorting, etc. was carried out. Information about delivery to the addressee is located, as a rule, at the end of the table. If the parcel was delivered to the addressee, indicate the name of the post office in which the delivery was made, its date and time. This information is not available if the addressee has not yet received the required mailing.
