It seems like smokers are all over the place, especially if you've recently quit smoking or if you're trying to. In such cases, you probably would not want to be in the company of smokers, so as not to take up the old thing again.
You also don't want to be around smokers if you are concerned about the health risks associated with inhaling second-hand smoke, i.e. secondhand smoke. Some simple changes will help you avoid the society of smokers.
1. Go to places where smokers are not allowed or where smoking is prohibited. These are often theaters, libraries, museums and other similar public spaces.
2. Do not go to places where smoking is allowed. Smoking is still allowed in many bars and restaurants, but not all. Try to choose an establishment where the non-smoking room is physically separate from the smoking room, which should have good ventilation.
3. Go to lunch or take breaks with non-smokers. At work or in a company, if you want to go somewhere or take a walk, try not to do it with smokers. Most likely, they will smoke as soon as they go outside.
4. Find new hobbies and hobbies that are not related to smoking. Some activities, such as camping or bowling, may include activities such as smoking. Other hobbies such as running, playing sports, or yoga are less attractive to heavy smokers.
5. Let your friends and family know that you don't want to be around smokers. Since you still want to see these people, ask them not to smoke in front of you, and try not to visit them.
