Legally, a young adult receives a deferral from military service if he is declared unfit by the military commission for his health condition. A young man who has completed alternative civilian service or served in another state also receives a respite from the army.
Step 2
Under certain family circumstances, while studying in some higher educational institutions, when a conscript is in demand in an important public service and in another type of professional activity, he receives a deferral from military service.

There are not the most pleasant clauses in the Federal Law "On Military Duty and Military Service", according to which a person liable for military service will receive an exemption from service or a deferral from the army. This is a situation when a young man is currently serving a criminal sentence, is in correctional labor, under arrest, restraint of liberty.

There is a postponement from service by a special decree of the President of the Russian Federation. Up to five hundred conscripts in our country receive it annually.

The reason for the postponement from the army is not such circumstances as the admission of a conscript to a secondary specialized educational institution after graduating from high school (11 grades). Or if he was expelled from the university for academic failure, but he recovered.
