Currently, the problem of garage developments has become quite urgent, since the owners of most garages built in the seventies and eighties of the last century still do not have title documents for buildings and land plots. The legislation of the Russian Federation provides for the registration of garages in ownership - this is necessary in order to have the right to dispose of property at your own discretion.

In order to properly carry out the registration of the garage in ownership, it is necessary to collect a number of documents.
1. Before starting registration of the garage, you must contact the chairman of the garage cooperative so that he issues a certificate that confirms membership in the garage cooperative and the payment of the corresponding share.
2. The certificate must be signed by the owners of neighboring garages and certified by two seals, one of which certifies the signature, the second is standard.
3. Particular attention should be paid to the size of the garage area - it should not be entered until the owner receives a technical passport from the BTI indicating the exact area. If there are discrepancies in these two documents, the certificate will be invalid.
4. It is also necessary to take from the chairman of the garage cooperative a copy of the certificate of land allocation to the cooperative.
5. You need to make a copy of the garage owner's passport.
6. Then you should contact the BTI to draw up a technical passport of the garage and pay for this service.
After receiving the package of documents required to register the garage, you need to go to the registration chamber. Before submitting documents, it is advisable to use the services of a consultant working at the registration chamber. He will check if all the necessary documents have been collected and if they are correct. As a rule, a certificate of state registration of property rights is issued one month after the application is submitted.
