The middle son of the President of Belarus, an adherent of a healthy lifestyle, a philanthropist and a businessman is Dmitry Aleksandrovich Lukashenko.
Biography
Lukashenko Dmitry Alexandrovich - was born on March 23, 1980 in Mogilev in the family of a politician and then President of Belarus - Alexander Grigorievich and a teacher - Galina Rodionovna. Dmitry received his higher education at the Belarusian State University, at the Faculty of International Relations. He defended his diploma on the topic: “Performance of Belarusian athletes in the international arena”. After graduation, he served as a captain in the border unit to combat smuggling and illegal migration. Dmitry received several awards for his service:
- Medal "80 years of border troops";
- Medal "For distinction in the protection of the state border";
- Badges "Excellence in Border Troops" I and II degrees.
Dmitry is a great adherent of a healthy lifestyle. Since childhood, he has been involved in sports - hockey, freestyle wrestling. He believes that sport perfectly supports the health and general tone of the body, therefore it often attracts not only his wife and children to sports, but also the maximum number of young people.
Dmitry Alexandrovich is an active football and hockey fan. For his sports activity, he has repeatedly received medals, diplomas and certificates of honor from the Council of Ministers.
Since 2005, since its foundation, he is the Head of the Central Council of the Republican State-Public Association "President's Sports Club". The club has been the organizer and partner of over 150 international tournaments. It brings together athletes, sports veterans, leaders and teachers of sports schools. The main goal of the club is to popularize a healthy way of life, create the necessary conditions for the development of physical culture, active sports and the organization of physically active recreation.
Since July 2006 he has been elected a member of the National Olympic Committee of Belarus. In December, he took part in training and ensuring the participation of Belarusian athletes in the XXIX Summer Olympic Games and XII Paralympic Games in 2008 in China.
In addition to the fact that Dmitry is a member of many charitable organizations, he also manages various business projects: from automobiles to construction projects (he is responsible for the supply of BelAZ trucks to Russia, and also controls the Elite Cottage Development Complex and the country's printing industry). Some journalists claim that Dmitry informally supervises the gambling business in Belarus, often using all the administrative levers of pressure available to him.
Personal life
Dmitry Alexandrovich prefers not to give interviews, and even more so he does not talk about his personal life. He rarely makes public appearances.
Since 2002 Dmitry has been married to Anna Borovikova. She comes from the city of Shklov. The couple had three children - Alexandra (2003), Daria (2004) and Anastasia (2014).
Today journalists do not prophesy to Dmitry a variant of the post of the President of Belarus. It is more realistic that Alexander Grigorievich will prepare for the legacy of the eldest son Viktor or the younger Nicholas.
