Tatyana Vasilievna was born in Leningrad on September 12, 1933. Her parents, workers, moved to Leningrad from the Yaroslavl region.

After the institute, Basilashvili and Doronin were assigned to the drama theater in the city of Stalingrad. They worked there for only 3 months - they were cool with newcomers.

Later, the couple began to live in Leningrad and got a job at Lenkom. In 1959, Georgy Tovstonogov invited Tatyana to the BDT. The actress agreed on the condition that Oleg Basilashvili would also be accepted into the troupe. Soon the actress became a prima, her roles in the plays "Barbarians", "My Elder Sister", "Virgin Soil Upturned" were stellar.

After 7 years, Doronina began to live in the capital, worked at the Moscow Art Theater, the Mayakovsky Theater. In 1981-1987. Tatyana Vasilievna was a member of the Sfera Theater troupe. In 1998, she published her autobiography, An Actress's Diary, which became popular. The work was republished in 2005.

In 1987, Doronina became the director of the Moscow Art Theater, and she also received the position of artistic director. In 2016 she took part in the play "Vassa Zheleznova", playing the main role.

In the fifties, Doronina began to appear in films, she played in an episode of the film "First Echelon". Then there was a break, Tatiana continued to act only in 1966. She worked in the filming of the movie "The Elder Sister", which was a success. Tatiana was named the actress of the year.

Personal life

Tatyana Vasilievna was married 5 times. The first husband is Oleg Basilashvili, they studied together. They got married in 1955, and separated 8 years later. They had no children.

Then Doronina married Yufit Anatoly, a theater critic. They lived together for 3 years.

Then the actress became interested in Edward Radzinsky, a playwright. They married in 1966, and divorced in 1971, but remained on friendly terms.

In 1973, Boris Khimichev, an actor, became the husband of the actress. They parted in 1982, as the relationship between them faded.

In 1985, Tatyana Vasilievna married Robert Tokhnenko, an employee of the central board. The marriage lasted 3 years. Tatyana preferred theater to family, so she did not give birth to a child. Doronin never married again, she has no children.
