Christophe Mahe is a French singer, composer and poet. He has been awarded several prestigious awards. These include the NRJ Music Award for Discovery of the Year in France, the NRJ Music Award for Best Francophone Performer, the NRJ Music Award for Best Francophone Song, and the Victoires de la musique 2008 Audience Award.

The biography of the future artist, composer and musician began in 1975. The child was born on October 16 in the town of Carpentra in the family of owners of a small pastry shop. Guy and Christine raised two sons. Frederick and Christoph's music lessons were encouraged.
The head of the family was himself an amateur jazzman. At the age of six, he invited his son to choose an instrument. Christophe accidentally settled on the violin. By 12 he had mastered the drum kit, and by 17 he had become a promising guitarist.
The future musician was seriously fond of sports and dreamed of becoming a professional skier. I had to part with hopes after a serious illness. At the age of 16, the teenager was practically bedridden. Music became his only salvation. Christophe was attracted by the work of Stevie Vander, Bob Marley, Jack Johnson, Ben Harper, Francis Carbel, Gerald De Palmas and Mervan Gaje.
The beginning author wrote solo compositions in rythm'n blues and soul style. Music so captured the guy that he decided not to waste time on getting an education. The father had to convince his son to study the craft of the pastry chef in college. True, Christoph never used the knowledge he had gained in practice.
Together with his friend Julien Gore, a hairdresser, Maheu enrolled in the conservatory and founded a group. Friends toured the nearest towns and villages, played in bars and clubs. The first triumphant future for the guys was predicted by Derraji Mella, who owned a small tavern "la Civette" in the musician's hometown.
Success
The young man decided to make his hobby a profession. He became a student at the music school. After gaining the necessary knowledge in the company of a friend, double bass player, percussionist and singer, he went to Saint-Tropez. Performances took place on private beaches. Christoph became a professional at the age of 20. For the next eight, she cruised between the beaches of Côte d'Azura, Corsica and the Courchevel mountains.
Maheu did not plan to remain in the role of an artist for private small parties. In 2004 he headed to Paris. The musician was looking for a record label for the release of his debut album. The guy managed to record several compositions on the words of Zazi at the Warner studio. Christophe acted as an opening act for the concerts of Seal, Cher. During the performance of Jonathan Serada, the musician met the producer Dov Attiu, an acquaintance from the Corsican resorts. Christophe first heard from him about the grandiose project of a new musical.
In the production of The Sun King, Maheu was offered the role of the younger brother of Louis the Fourteenth, Louis, the effeminate and eccentric Monsignor or Monsieur. He was called the minister of amusements at the court of Louis. The talent of the applicant so impressed the production proluser that he was immediately approved for the role of Christophe. At the same time, the fact that the singer was not completely identical to the image was not taken into account. To reduce the southern accent effect, the text has been simplified.
The hero's blond wig shocked Maheu. The artist was afraid of turning into a jester, and musicals seemed to him completely inappropriate. However, it was Christophe who "made" the performance. The striking character added humor and eccentricity to the production without hints of caricature.
The nickname "stuck" to the musician. This step became the defining one in my career. This is how the famous solo artist Christophe Mahe appeared. His first disc was released in 2007, on March 19. Mon paradis instantly turned into a diamond. The song “On s’attache” helped to achieve unprecedented success. At the same time, the first tour took place. The audience received the singer with enthusiasm.
Personal topic
At the beginning of 2008, a new tour took place at the largest venues in the country, including the famous Zenit. Now Maheu acted as the main star. The singles “Belle demoiselle”, “Parce qu'on sait jamais”, “C'est ma terre”, released in support of the performances, have not lost their popularity either.
A DVD tour and an acoustic version of "Mon paradis" were scheduled for release in October 2008.
Outside of the musical, Christophe wears neither a wig nor heels. His usual clothes are a cap with a peaked back and a tracksuit. But it was in this image that he arranged his personal life. His chosen one was Nadezh Sarron, a dancer from Aix-en-Provence. The singer dedicated the song "My Paradise" to her. Together, the lovers visited Marrakech. The first trip was remembered by both. According to the musician, Nadezh is in each of his compositions. On March 11, 2008, Maheu had a child. The parents named their son Jules.

Then the singles "J'ai laissé", "Je me lâche" and "Pourquoi c'est beau" were released. In June 2010, a new tour started. It consisted of five concerts in the capital "Zenith" and two in Bercy. The tour continued in 2011 with performances in Germany and Switzerland.
At the beginning of November 2010 a new version of the CD "On trace la route" with bonus tracks was released. In 2011, the artist became a Knight Commander of the Order of Art and Literature.
