Despite the hardships of the war and the post-war period, she managed to make the children worthy people - the eldest daughter Zina became a teacher, Viktor became a famous actor, the younger Nikolai made a successful party career, headed a large economic department at the district level.
Realizing that Victor is drawn to art, his mother assigned him to the Odessa Art and Theater School. Elena Pavlovna hoped that the middle son would become a successful artist (the boy always painted beautifully), but he suddenly became interested in acting.
After graduating from college, in 1956, Viktor Nikolaevich was drafted into the ranks of the SA for military service, but he did not forget about the stage and cinema for a minute. Demobilized, he decided to continue his specialized education - he entered the Kiev Institute of Theatrical Art, after graduation he got "by assignment" to the Mariupol Theater. Viktor Nikolaevich served at the Mariupol Theater for only a few months. Without completing the deadline set for "distribution", he moved to the Shevchenko Music and Drama Theater in Chernigov.
